Of course you claimed we had McDuffie and a bunch of assholes. Now Watson was playing at an all pro level and gets hurt and you want to take a victory lap. In a normal year they don't consider this move. They're obviously going hard for the threepeat and are wanting as much talent on the team as they can afford. [Reply]
Ryan Ramczyk, I know his knee is shot and he was placed on PUP list before the season started so he won’t be able to come back this season with the Saints.
BUT does anyone know if that PUP status stays with him if traded? Maybe he has healed up and can play now?

A lot of context has come to life since that trade. Watson was playing out of his mind, and if they think adding someone of Lattimore’s caliber is necessary here midseason, that says a lot about what Watson was doing + even more about what they think Nazeeh and Williams are capable of doing in Watson’s absence.
With Lattimore only having $1M left to pay this year, it’s not apples to apples between choosing he and Sneed.
Bullshit. They way this has played out keeping was the right move. Now we have to deal a similar pick for an injured Lattimore or field a corner group after McDuffie that is a bunch of COMPLETE turds. Minshew for fucks sake was shredding those jobbers at times [Reply]

Lattimore would obviously be an enormous addition and would take the D to an even higher level. I think he's better than Sneed, when healthy. Stickier, without the tendency to get grabby.
It would be interesting to see KC's approach to a Lattimore contract next year. Obviously, Mahomes' contract is at the "tear it up, make a new deal point" and his cap number is unlikely to actually sit at $66M+. They could restructure or just do a new deal (the QB of a 3-peating team who has just won his third straight SB MVP can probably swing that, right?). They'll create $30M or so of 2025 room there. But they have a BUNCH of guys due for new deals and even if Lattimore was willing to play on his existing deal (I suspect he would not be), there's not a lot of cash left.
Would you be willing to commit to Lattimore instead of Trey Smith or Nick Bolton?
It's possible Travis Kelce retires, I suppose, which would free up about $17M in space. Which would give you the room for Lattimore.
But it seems like the most likely scenario - to me - if Lattimore were traded for would be for the Chiefs to cut him after this season ... perhaps even having an agreement with the player they won't tag or keep him on that deal. [Reply]
I'd do the trade but why are people ignoring Lattimore’s injuries all the while acting like it's a victory lap that Sneed is slightly banged up? [Reply]

Lattimore = could be a Chief, therefore the injuries are no big deal
Sneed = won’t be a Chief, therefore he’s a broke dick piece of shit [Reply]

5 hamstring injuries over the past decade, including two in the past year, certainly is a warning sign. It would be tough to commit to him long-term.
That's what is going to make his market super interesting. The player himself suggests the compensation should be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. The injury history says it should be more like a 5th. [Reply]

Look at your expertise! It’s as if hindsight makes every decision just a bit easier. How could they not have predicted their 2 and 3 would get injured!? Every team should have starters 6 players deep on the depth chart tf Veach!?
If Veach had kept Sneed, other dominos would have tipped the wrong way considering all of the injuries to starters. No Uche or DHop. No Creed or Smith extensions. Bye Bolton. You really act like team building is some basic skill. [Reply]
