Nzoner's Game Room>It's going to be hard to beat 3-4 playoff teams with Morris at LT
FringeNC 06:30 PM Yesterday
We are average 5.2 yards per play, which is *by far* the worst of the Mahomes era and actually *below average* this year in the NFL. He's probably the worst starting LT in the league and kills drives.

I think you have to bring in one of the former starters who are on the street.

I think some of you forgot that Josh Allen is a massive dude. The toughest QB in the NFL to bring down.

They were doing diff tasks. A spy the guys job is only to tackle. Needs to be a big strong guy too. Chanel

Sorry OP, both starting tackles have been struggling lately.

Buffalo feasted just like Donkeys did. Uh, don't look now but the team formerly known as the San de Eggo Superchargers can get after it too. Andy can help these guys by running the effing ball. Unleash the Pacheco. Let Kareem leak out of the backfield and catch it with some space.

I saw Willie Roaf taking head at the tittie bar last night, I asked if he was in town to play LT and he came on the stripper’s face. Let’s fucking go!!!!!!!

Andy needs to protect Mahomes blindside every game. A Carolina Panther DE could end our season easily, think about that.

Biggest problem was we couldn’t get them off the field on third down.

Maybe have a TE/RB help out with a chip on their way out to their route? I don't remember seeing that very often, if at all.

It's easy to say "go get Smith". And right now I'd be agree with that. But what about the roster dynamics? We currently have ten O-line guys.

Morris
Taylor
Kingsley
Driskell
Hanson
Caliendo
Thuney
Smith
Humphrey
Nourzad

And we've got one spot available with these guys returning or potentially returning at some point

Pacheco
Omenihu
Butker
Brown
Watson

Pacheco can take the open spot right now.

Butker replaces the current kicker.

Omenihu replaces?

Watson could replace Keith Taylor

Brown replaces?

To bring in Smith they'd have be prepared to go with eleven line-men?

A new CB could just replace Keith Taylor right now but the O-line situation is more challenging because Veach would effectively be waving the white flag on his two draft picks at this point.

I think the front office and Andy will certainly be having some tough conversations about these issues tbh.

Veach has been very good as the GM, and should probably have won the Executive of the Year at least once, but not getting Lattimore and a veteran LT at the deadline could prove to be costly for a team looking to make history.
The deal is Latimore is really injured, with a reoccurring hamstring injury, and he would not be much help this year.

Having said that, there is no denying that the Jaylen Watson injury was huge. And could very well be the one that they do not overcome.

Not re-signing Willie Gay hurt us yesterday and he’s getting peanuts in New Orleans

Or tell Kingsley to limp around some and go on IR.

Makes one wonder why he hasn’t signed one of them yet. Perhaps they are asking for more than KC can spend. They both know KC needs to upgrade the position pretty badly and maybe they are leveraging that to ask for more than they are worth. Don’t know for sure, just speculation on my part.

Chiefs have already beaten 4 playoff teams, maybe 5.

Fuck this thread.

Remember when Taylor was signed to play LT?

That started the mess the Chiefs are currently in at LT.

And it's not like he's dominating at RT either... 20+ penalties last year, and "slightly" better this year... tied for the third most penalized player in the NFL currently.

Our fan base has always been pretty obsessive about OL play, I don't think it will ever stop.
