Amazing how you can be a pessimistic fuck every single week in the GDTs despite all the winning and SBs but you can be optimistic enough to believe that Lamar Jackson turned into a good pocket passer overnight in his 7th season based on some regular season stats. [Reply]

104.3 The Fan in Denver. Really reputable. Said he didn't want to drop the name until his source confirmed it was final. He made it seem like a pretty significant trade. Kept alluding to it just as the Diontae Johnson news broke. Said all the AFC contenders making big moves and Broncos sitting on their hands (they think they are contenders). And I quote: "Oh and Kansas City is not done. Expect another trade to drop shortly. Defender. Really good player." Something to that effect. Take it for what it's worth. [Reply]

Besides, the regular season isn’t where the questions are for Lamar.
You’re not wrong. But go look at each of his game stats this year and they’re good. Also, I don’t think we can look to the past as any solid indicator for what to expect in the future. Lamar has struggled in the playoffs no doubt, but those were different Baltimore teams. Time will tell. [Reply]
Jesus, I would have much rather done this. If Hopkins stays healthy, then he's still probably better even at this point in his career, but I just have a hard time seeing him stay healthy. [Reply]

I love the take I keep hearing, "the Ravens didn't know how to use Derrick Henry yet Wk 1!!!!!!"
As if the Chiefs don't dominate every RB they play.
Greg Roman? lol
Monken now buddy, but your point still stands. [Reply]
That's a hell of a deal for Baltimore. That's about as free as Uche was. Hell, it's LESS than Hopkins got.
Would've absolutely beaten that. Johnson would be a damn perfect complement to Hopkins here and I absolutely believe we could've had him up to speed in short enough order to be a difference maker.
That one stings a little bit. If for no other reason than I'm not terribly concerned about McDuffie shutting down Flowers - I don't love sending Johnson/Williams out there against Diontae. Creates that 2nd weapon for them that could complicate things for us. [Reply]

That's fun. Hope the guy was being forreal and not hyperbolic.
When I hear really good player in 2024, I don't think of Tre White. Lattimore however... different story.
And who knows. Would they go crazy and go get someone even better? [Reply]
