It comes down to defense down the stretch. Brady had elite defense for 4 of his rings. Rodgers hasn't won anything without that top 5 defense in 2010. Manning played like ass and was carried to the finish line by the #1 defense.

I have went out of my way to express gratitude for Smith, and recognize his serious accomplishments here... but lets at least admit that he has helmed some extremely talented teams that have nonetheless come up short

They pretty much manhandled the Pats in that SB running the ball down their throats the whole game. Carroll just decided to go full retard on play calling that last drive.:-) [Reply]

That SB should have been a blow out for the Seahawks with how much talent they had on defense.
