Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Interesting analysis on the first play, but seems odd to me. When Mahomes hits the top of his drop, the inside receiver is open, and the safety has not committed either way - he doesn't break until Mahomes starts the throw. The route was open for a big gain, he just missed the throw. [Reply]

The crazy thing is the OL was awful Sunday, he just made it look decent. [Reply]

The line was terrible. Mahomes managed it, which simply increases our excitement
The blocking was poor but Mahomes can still throw a fastball with a defender grasping at his feet. [Reply]

The guy touches the ball every play and must make key decisions every play. Most valuable position in all of sports, bar none.
So QB position is important.. cool.
Wonder why KC is top 3 in wins over the last 5 years... hmmm... :-) [Reply]

Can you ever just **** off with this stuff?
Everyone knows Smith is a great game manager. He's been more than that this year. You can win games in this league being a game manager when your team is very talented, which the Chiefs/49ers have been since '11. He's also got a hell of a coaching staff.
There's a reason it's not been enough in the playoffs to date. [Reply]
