IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I'd put my money on Wentz with Mahomes next.

Wentz
Mahomes
Goff
Watson

Watson is talented but injury prone I fear, and as mentioned yesterday he relied far too often on chucking up prayers. That's fine if you have Hopkins and Fuller, but probably can't work at the clip it did this year consistently.

Wentz and Mahomes are the most physically gifted of the bunch. Both are set up pretty well. They also both seem to be hard workers. We'll see, but I'd bet on those two being the best.
I agree about Goff. His coach inspires a ton of confidence in him

Amazing that wentz and watson went down with injury already. Considering all the shots Smith has taken as a Chief it's strange how he hasn't missed more games or that his spleen hasn't already exploded

Take your fantasy football stats somewhere else. All we care about is wins.

I think it comes down to who can stay the healthiest throughout their careers. Significant injuries can alter a career path. Especially the runners like Watson.

But he read the box score stats and made a conclusion. The box score stats never lie.

Mahomes would have to be incredible to match what Wentz has done. We haven’t seen a 2nd year QB progress like this in a long time.

It’s easy to see Mahomes ceiling being significantly higher than someone like Dak Prescott.

It's a list of young studs though. Not 29 year old journeymen.

Have we ever watched a rookie in his debut go 4 or 5 wide his first 3 possessions and attempt 35 throws?

Kid is special

Chiefs fans aren't that lucky.

I love Wentz, Watson and Jimmy G, but I’m happy to say I think Mahomes has the most upside. PM is obviously the least proven to date, but what I have seen is jaw dropping.

Jimmy G may easily be the best of the bunch if you add him to the discussion. He has been clutch to start his career.

Weird to think he is only a year older than Wentz.

Or it's because we didn't have a running back, and Mahomes can't pass out of a traditional set without play action yet.

No doubt man, that was anything but a 'safe', run the ball a bunch, max protect when you do throw it gameplan

He already looks like second or third year guy
