The Raiders had nothing to play for today, but of course they had a miracle win scoring at the last min and going for 2 to win instead of the tie.
The Broncos now have a top 10 pick. The Raiders will be picking 17th as opposed to a top 15 pick, but still preferred they lost this one to fuck the Broncos.
Derek Carr was 29 for 63 for 1,128 yards, 10 TDs, 2 INTs and 118.9 rating on passes 20+ yards downfield for #Raiders. Carr gained 3rd most yards in NFL on deep passes (behind Rodgers/Brady). Carr was tied for 23rd in 2019 w/ 527 yards on deep passes

If the Defense doesn't take a huge step forward because Gruden insists upon yet another terrible Defensive Coordinator, yeah, he's got to be on the hot seat. [Reply]
Refs did fall back to their norm of screwing the Raiders as usual this year. Despite BlackOps insisting the NFL wanted the Raiders to make the playoffs. Conspiracy nut will do what they always do, ignore evidence that violates their conspiracy.
Raiders ended up at 8-8 because we had the worst defense in the history of the Raiders, not because of any Ref BS. Seriously. We set the franchise record for most points allowed. Still only came in at 19th worst all time though. [Reply]

Players all have something to play for. Mainly their jobs especially ones in a contract year and of course some pride. Coaches coach to win as well. The concept of losing out for draft picks is for the fans and thats about it lol. [Reply]
I can't even imagine the shame of getting fired by that weird-hair Raiders owner. I envision going into his office, and he's riding a small bicycle with training wheels around his office, with that fringe stuff hanging from the handlebars and a Tim Brown football card in the spokes. He stops, licks cheeto dust off his fingers, and then yells over the blaring reruns of Two Broke Girls in the background, "I don't think you're meeting my standards, so I will be replacing you with Marmaduke the dog." You would have been 7-9 had Greg Williams not screwed the Jets. [Reply]

Anybody with half a brain knows what that meant. Technically they didn’t. They were already eliminated. I understand that players want to win regardless. That’s not the point. [Reply]
