Youtube was a great resource. Total cost at the end will be right around $300-325. Will take pics when all done. Let see if this $300 smoker will be a $300 performer, or a $1000 performer with the mods.
Found a really good spice shop nearby that will put together customized rubs. I usually just make my own rubs but some of these are pretty fun.

I used the carne asada on some skirt steak last night that was fantastic, but I'm mostly just trying out Imgur for photos since Photobucket turded out.
