I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

The first ended when Jamal Agnew had the ball pop loose inside the Chiefs 5 with about 5 1/2 minutes to go, and the second when Jaylen Watson made a leaping, one-handed interception near midfield.

Guess you forgot that.
Meh, I don't really see how not scoring to make it a one possession game is "almost winning"... it's "almost making it a game", which they never did. Seems like a weird PTSD thing where people assume an opponent is going to score every possession and then when they don't, it's discounted as flukey.
The Jags were totally feeling the pressure of those moments with multiple bobbles, the fumble, interception... they choked. It's what inexperienced mediocre playoff teams do. [Reply]
Man, I just really hope somewhere early in the game, Pacheco bounces one outside, and 'lil Eli Apple comes up to make the tackle and Pacheco just flat trucks the little motormouth.
There was sh*t ton of Bengals fans in the Power and Light last night. We really need to win this one so they san sulk in their hotel rooms tonight and stay the hell out of OUR town… [Reply]
