Good - no reason to pay a closer next season and you can probably still get some decent value for him. I still say Baltimore is the play there; offer him up with a SP (maybe Gray) and see if you can get one of their surplus position prospects. [Reply]

The Brewers appear to be doing the same with Devin Williams after they turned down his $10.5 club option yesterday, but he is still under team control for one year and is eligible for the arbirtration process like Helsley. [Reply]
If I knew how to share a Tweet, his offensive stats last year would be in the Top 3-4 of all 1B. He wants to be here, and I like his passion so I'm fine with it, but will this impair Walker's development? This also allows Herrera's development at catcher.
