The #1 guys would be grabbing air against a decent nfl rb

Guys that’s abojt as big of a hole as you can ask for in the nfl

What (if anything) would you give up for Tony Pollard?

This could be absolute bullshit btw.

Pollard is better than Elliott and it’s not close.

I think he’s a star ready to break out big.

Honestly,

At most a 3rd rounder, if only because of injury caution. But he is going to take over for Zeke this year.

After rewatching the first half a dozen times I'm going to give Patches a partial pass. That WAS DL is legit. They were consistently getting penetration from their down guys and giving their LBs open lanes to the RBs. In that particular play it looked like the Chiefs did have the play decently blocked up, and Pacheco did miss seeing that hole, but even if he had seen it I'm not sure the WAS front doesn't bring him down for a short gain anyway. They're just dominating in the middle.

If Andy was calling a real game I think he runs something away from that WAS interior.

This isn't even worth a discussion on CP let alone the Pachecho thread.

Does Veach seem like the type of GM to trade real capital for a running back with the group that we have? And with Andy Reid?

Yeah, Pollard is always like the best back in the NFL on those efficiency charts.

I don’t know all of the ins and outs of Elliott’s deal, but I know he’s expensive. They can’t pay both. Not sure when/if they would release Elliott.

Probably not.

I’m honestly more skeptical that the Cowboys would even consider parting with Pollard.

They wouldn't. That's the point. Bleacher Report spends time throwing random stuff against the wall because they have writers with too much time on their hands who have to publish and get clicks and then you're posting a guy speculating about a Bleacher Report article that was at best speculating and at worst pandering for clicks.

Pollard was clearly the better back. Everyone knows that. No one is parting with real capital for a RB these days.

Hard to tell a guy who had a severe case of it and still has health issues from it a year later, and possibly for life, that it's "political."

I doubt they would. And I also doubt any team is sending a day 2 pick away for a RB these days if that's the expected compensation if they do.

Someone commented that Charles had some similar runs in his rookie year.
