You gotta have a nice glass of red wine or a good hearty beer. You had it all perfect up until the RC Cola :-)
I had a Bloody Mary with breakfast, try to only do alcohol at one meal per day...
And of all the Colas, RC Cola is the best with outdoor cooked food. Don't know why. Creme soda or Strawberry is great with BBQ. That's why all the KC BBQ joints have either or both on the fountain. [Reply]

Yeah, and no thanks. Might deconstruct that and make a ham and grilled cheese and either banana smoothie or banana bread. That looks and sounds nasty. [Reply]

I don't drink pop but if I did, RC is good stuff. [Reply]

A friend of mine described the flavor of the baked banana as being similar to baked artichoke hearts.

I'm a non-soda drinker so it's hard for me to like soda with BBQ. I'll have maybe 8-10 sodas in the entire year.
I think a good lemonade or ice tea would be a better non alcohol choice or even a mango lassie or fruit punch. [Reply]

I made a homemade lemonade for my BBQ this Sunday that was thyme infused. I was surprised it was a hit with both adults and children. I shoulda' made a double batch. Will make again.

Was a Martha Stewart idea.
Maybe she learned it in prison. Was it made in a toilet? [Reply]
I grilled up a bunch of chicken cutlets for salads. There's an oregano/lemon/oil group, a jerk seasoning group, and some with garam masala. Next I need to work up some vinaigrettes to go with each. And I brined the chicken for a half hour to help keep them juicy.
My hometown of Independence, MO has its own small batch craft soda pop factory called "Polly's Pop." Their black cherry soda and creme soda are both very good. http://www.pollyssodapop.com/ [Reply]

She went to jail in 2004 for five months. That was 13 years ago. She has her staff help with such things and looked like a recent addition. I don't find your comment relevant or funny. [Reply]
