Dana White is throwing chairs and shit around in a backroom somewhere, screaming a question at a lackey asking who was in charge of making sure Ngannou worked on his cardio. [Reply]

The UFC has made a habit of promoting the shit out of someone who gets beaten soundly. They did it with Rousey, and Ngannou among others. They make their champs feel like placeholders. That sells excitement for the fight but they need to pimp the Champs a little harder. [Reply]

To be fair most of their champs recently have been place holders outside of Mighty Mouse.
Their big ticket names like Jones can't stop stepping on his own dick. McGregor doesn't want to fight. Middleweight, welterweight, and bantamweight has been a round robin of champs.

Max Holloway has a shot, though.
There is a lot of questionable matchmaking in the UFC. Big money fights that make no sense. Giving GSP a shot at the Middle Weight belt after years away? WTF was that shit? Rousey getting a shot at Nunes without winning a fight, McGregor holding 2 divisions hostage while he plays big dick swinging, shit like that turns fighters and eventually fans off. [Reply]

C'mon, man. We had to see that GSP-Bisping superfight ASAP. *eyeroll* [Reply]

His brother is probably above money, material possessions, etc but I think Nate likes having nice shit, he's probably just about broke, and he does undoubtably have a good contract with the UFC if he ever goes back to work. [Reply]
This weekend is the break between the conference championships and the Super Bowl, which means the UFC is on FOX this weekend.
Friday
8pm - (Paramount) - Bellator 193, Larkin vs. Gonzalez
Not a lot of names on this card, this is pretty bad by Bellator's standards. These days I think they are saving the best fighters on their roster to support cards featuring their freakshow Grand Prix.
Saturday
4pm TV - (3pm Fightpass/4pm FS1/7pm FOX) - UFC on FOX, Jacare vs. Brunson 2
This is average to maybe slightly below average on paper, but what else are you going to watch? I'll have it playing on TV so that I can occasionally glance over when an interesting fight comes on. [Reply]
