We'll never know all the details of the situation, but it's pretty clear the NFL did not disclose everything they knew. They wanted to sweep it under the rug and move on quietly.

What we do know: There were agreements between the team and "several" unidentified players to defer salary payments with interest, spanning the exact years during which they had by far the most loaded rosters in Denver history.

Could it be they were desperate to finally break through and take advantage of Elway's last couple years in the league? Nah...
Al Davis sure the F knew, and he would not let it get swept under the rug, and busted their sorry Cheating Donx asses. When Al Fucking Davis busts you for cheating, you're not only guilty, you're scum.

And has failed to address this discrepancy though I've pointed it out to him 2 different times in the past couple days.

Whoa ... not again?! Why do you guys keep making things up to win arguments with me?

I never came within light years of saying - or thinking - that AFL wins "don't count." I merely did what every PBP and every color man do a dozen times every game, and what every talk show host does multiple times every hour ... I made a statistical analysis based on a select portion of available data.

Here's some examples
.
  1. Coach Smith went 6-10 both his first two seasons here, then last year his team jumped to an 11-5 record
  2. The Sharks have won all seven home games so far this season, by an average of 14 points
  3. Punter Jim Nelson has clearly spent time working on his directional kicking - after landing just two punts inside the 20 last year, that is his twelfth one this year
  4. The Stallions went eight years without making the playoffs, but this year they drafted quarterback Bone Icks, who led them to a 10-7 record and back to the playoffs in his rookie season
  5. The Chiefs made the AFL playoffs five times in ten seasons, including appearances in two of the first four Super Bowls. It's that kind of success that makes this two-decade long slump so tough for the fans

You hear comparisons of selected parts of a player's or team's statistics almost CONSTANTLY!. Please acting like such comparisons are unknown to you ... You got to be smarter and more observant than that

I saw on a Donks forum where they are claiming the Chiefs 'cheat"....

Coming from a fanbase whose actual team has the most documented cheating offenses in NFL history...you would think they could differentiate the difference.

A team cheating is:

1. Using HGH, shipped in your wife's name to avoid detection, to skirt NFL rules and gain a physical advantage/avoid retirement.

2. Paying unaffordable star players under the table to keep them from going to teams that can actually afford them.

3. Recording teams walk through and building a database...

4. Greasing your jerseys in a play-off game...to the degree they have to stop action until it's wiped off.

Chiefs have the least number of Cheating offenses in the NFL....

If the NFL has an agenda for preferential treatment...this is out of an individual teams control. We all saw it during the Manning HGH years...Hali would literally be in a choke hold with both arms up in the air and the refs would ignore it. Star players get protected and given the benefit of the doubt...there was a QB that said the ref told him "you're not old enough to get that call".

Mahomes is getting the benefit that Manning and Brady did...there is a shot of a ref coming to the bench to console Allen just a few weeks ago. I have never seen that before...where is the outrage?

Preferential treatment is what the NFL does...it was in play before Mahomes and will be after. Chiefs were a victim of it in the 2018 AFCCG as were the Saints...with the worst no-call DPI in post-season history. NFL wanted LA, with their new stadium in the post season...turned into the worst SB in history.

I’m not wasting my time on your incoherent nonsense. You’re a liar. You claimed to be in Mensa, unprompted, when no one asked or cared. The fact is, you’re not. Pat is not "soft". He is smart.

He puts on his cape when he NEEDS to. Even on one leg...

No no, he's definitely not soft, I never said that. Supposedly yes, he's a raging competitor - right down to ping pong. Supposedly. He doesn't seem that way to me, he seems really easy going, but by all accounts no.

What I'm saying is - at this point I think he might be SO good, (((AND NONE OF THIS IS KISSING ANY OF YOU CIRCUS ANIMALS ASSES))) ... He might be so good that he can drive down the field and score basically anytime he wants to. The only thing that might hold him back is a teammate's mistake or a penalty. Last year's SB Overtime was like that ... didn't you just KNOW he was going to drive down for a TD to win? I did, said so at the time. And didn't he leave just 2 seconds on the clock or something? Freaking showoff.

I've only seen him REALLY off his game twice: The tantrum when Toney was offsides, and near the end of regulation vs Cincy in AFCCG. Maybe somebody here can answer it for me without taking offense and freaking out. The way I remember it is: Chiefs, behind by 3, drove down inside the Bengals 5 right about at the 2-minute warning. Game over, right?

Not this time. He started acting real funny, scrambling in reverse, running in circles. Lost 25 or 30 yards on two straight sacks. Butker barely made the field go to tie it. I really am curious because it was so weird, what the hell happened there?

And Redin, what discrepancy? There's so many to choose from

Look Mensa boy, YOU are the one that dismissed all of the pre-merger contests between the Chiefs and the Broncos because of the fact that they were pre-merger and some asshole posted a Youtube video that did not include them. YOU were the one that argued that they should not be counted because they were from prior to the merger. YOU were the one that refused to acknowledge the true head-to-head records between the Chiefs and Broncos.

Now, YOU either need to admit YOU were wrong to dismiss the pre-merger head-to-head contests between the Chiefs and Broncos due to the fact that they from before the official merger, or YOU need to admit that YOU are wrong to consider the Packers threepeat of NFL championships from prior to the merger don't compare to a potential threepeat in today's NFL.

Which is it Mensa boy?

I haven't lied about anything. And I WAS prompted, somebody called me "stupid," which is pretty rich based on the gray matter displayed by Planet-dwellers in here 😂

For example, you said "it's a fact" that I am not a member. At the very least, that is a foolish, reckless statement, I'll call it stupid. Its not even that hard to join. I'm a lawyer, and the bar exam is not much harder ... I think most lawyers could be members if they wanted.

NOW: I called my statement about Mensa a dumb thing to say, even apologized!. But that wasn't enough for you. You raised it again. So: I will wager you $500 (five hundred dollars) that I am a member. You said it's "a fact" that I'm not, so this should be an easy decision for you.

Two conditions: 1) The money must be held by a third party before I offer proof, and 2) membership card does not have to be current, I haven't paid the dues in about three years.

Ready?

The original discussion was comparing total franchise histories and statistics.

You decided to conveniently leave out the AFL years in that conversation.

It's not worth arguing about for days, but you did say that. Specifically, you said that YOU don't count them. You compared it to the minor leagues.

Which is ridiculous anyway because the AFL/AFC won the vast majority of early Super Bowls. If there was a "minor league" period, it was the Elway era.

Now you’re a lawyer? What kind of lawyer has a horrible grasp of syntax and sentence structure, and enough free time to lurk on message boards all day? And a Mensa member who struggles with third-grade math? Please. You’re nothing but a pathetic, lying, grifting piece of shit. You're the one making the grandiose claims, you should be willing to offer your "proof" for free.

I wouldn’t trust you to watch paint dry without screwing it up.
