Because having to win 2 games to win a Title, with the Title Game being in your own backyard in one instance is NOT the same as having to win 10 totals games over 3 years with a Title Game being set in a neutral location where neither team likely has a decided advantage over the other, unlike the Packers setup nearly 60 years ago.
Good points, I agree for sure.
They're basically the same points I make when posting our teams' H2H in NFL games only, and the other statistical analysis, that since we joined the NFL ... all the way 48 years to Mahomes' first being named starter, Chiefs won just FOUR playoff games. 4 in 48 years. And two were in 1993 with Joe Montana at quarterback.
After being yelled at, insulted and getting my ass kicked for a week in this thread, I pointed out that in those same 48, the Broncos went EIGHT Super Bowls in four separate eras - Mid-late 70s, mid-late 80s, late 90s and early-mid Teens. Set records in MNF appearances, Pro Bowls, All-time record home sellouts, nationally televised games, 10 AFCCGs (the two we lost were in more eras - early 90s, mid 00s), and much much more. My theory then, and now, is the out-sized Broncos hate in this thread is based on all those years looking up. [Reply]

Dude, KC is just better. And by the time Mahomes retires our SB count won’t even be close

What do you mean "my case?"
My only points are there was no competitive advantage (which I may have proven myself wrong on the previous page here), and that the League decides on penalties, not dempsey and not Chiefs posters in this thread. Duh.
The fact that the League's explanation of, and penalties for, the Redskins' and Cowboys' violations were both MUCH more severe does say something, whether you think so or not.
_________
I recall, a long time ago when we were still talking about this, we wondered what the League meant by saying it "violated cap rules" but declined to say it caused an advantage. THIS would explain that! I don't know why you guys aren't jumping on this, but whatever payments and interest they received for deferring a portion of their salary would almost certainly not be reported to the league or the union, but could easily constitute a violation of the cap. And just because it's "interest" doesn't mean it's a small amount ... it could be a flat fee plus interest, very possibly $100,000 each, maybe more. [Reply]

Wrong again. You've already had it pointed that the Donkeys have earned the hatred by way of their cheating & scandalous activities. Nobody was looking up at your Donkeys all 48 of those years, as you falsely claim. Nobody looks up at a team that got blown out in Elway's only 3 legit SB appearances.
Nobody looks up at the Donkeys when they get the correct translation of Bowlen's statement of "this one's for John" as follows:

And let us not forget that John, this 1997 season rode the coat-tails of a ridiculously easy schedule, the most horribly biased officiating going in our Donkeys favor unparalelled in football history, and Terrell Davis racking up massive rushing numbers behind an O-Line that was repeatedly allowed to get away with massive holding, illegal chop-blocks, leg-whips and even wearing Vaseline-like substance on their jerseys, in addition to cheating and violating the salary cap. But even with that..this one's for our 2nd-tier, buck-toothed, turd-out-of-the-back-pocket-pulling QB named John."
You've had that posted at you before & have yet to provide any substance to refute it, because you can't, which is why you haven't. All you've been able to come back with is "hurr durr that's nonsense because Donktards like me say it is". [Reply]

Ya gotta accept it
Yes, of course I accept it. KC is definitely better than Denver. I never said otherwise, I'm not mentally ill.
It's not OUR Super Bowl count you should be worried about, it's Brady's.
I'm percolating a theory now that Mahomes has just got lazy. He's SO good now, that he expends just enough effort to win games, nothing more. That's why you have so many close games, but still went 15-2 (15-1 really). That's also why Bo freaking Nix's offense put up more points this year than Mahomes' offense.
Mahomes sees no point in embarrassing other teams by running up the score. [Reply]

KC doesn’t really care until the playoffs.
I do feel kinda bad for Denver because there’s no way Nix is going to get by Allen, Burrow, Lamar, Stroud, Mahomes for a bowl. [Reply]

Wrong again. There's a case to be made about Brady's, but an even stronger case to made against the Donks, which has already been done in this thread. [Reply]
No need to feel bad. Nugs, Avs, Rockies usually have about 30% visiting team fans. Broncos are nowhere near that. So long as the playoffs are dangled in front of them, the fans will show.
Chiefs are happy, we are happy, Broncos fans get to watch guys jump from an airplane every game. [Reply]

Guys, THE LEAGUE makes the rules, not you. We win those two Super Bowls, end of story. You're like Trump after Biden had already taken office, STILL CRYING the election was stolen.
Guys, it's over! And you wonder why I call you obsessed ....
Thanks for making my point for me, albeit in a backwards way.
You guys all DEMAND I COUNT AFL GAMES! But when I point out all the 3-Peat hype (a record your team doesn't even have yet), is just hype because the Packers already accomplished it, suddenly NOW you want to exclude that accomplishment. Exclude just ONE YEAR, the other two years you're ok with, right?
**Denver Broncos (Cheating Donx) violated the salary cap during 2 Super Bowl seasons [Reply]

Key word there is "appearances." Those appearances occurred while the chefs were, at best, 1-and-Done, losing yet another Wildcard game in Narrowhead.
And you might think you "pointed out" something to me, but sorry dempsey - I recognize the authority of the NFL, not the Planet, and definitely not you.

Dude, you have no authority in anything. And in my opinion, you're obsessed with resentment and hatred of the Broncos. I hope your team's current dynasty-level success will ease some of your pain. [Reply]

Nobody recognizes you as any authority, either. You are only recognized as a Donktard Buffoon wanting to cling to his Donktard mythology.
And since when did the NFL become any authority? They can easily follow the same protocol of your parents telling you Santa Claus is going to come down the chimney and leave presents for you -- same protocol as the NFL publicizing the Donkeys won 3 SB's -- in each instance neither is reality and neither event happened.
The reality is ----> Donkeys all-time SB record is 0 wins, 5 losses, and 3 given to them as going-away presents (two to Turd Elway and one to 5-head Manning). [Reply]

Donktards getting more creative by inventing arguments to show how their team has been 'superior' to the Chiefs throughout history.
Who gives a flying rat's butthole what they did in the 70s and 80s??
Chiefs own you, historically. In pretty much every metric except SB appearances. That will end next season. You will have nothing left to hold on to. Your franchise will never win 9 straight division titles and they sure as fuck won't threepeat in the SB or go to 5 in 6 years. [Reply]

And there HAS been one 3-Peat before ... it definitely WAS a 3-Peat. Only difference is the first of the 3 wasn't called a "Super Bowl."
What AFL team did the Packers beat in their first game of their alleged 3 peat? They didn't beat one because they didn't play one. How hard is that to comprehend?? The Superbowl was a matchup of the AFL champ vs the the NFL champ. Now AFC vs NFC champs. Had they played the AFL champs the year before Superbowl 1 and beat them, then it would be a fair comparison. Thanks, but I don't feel bad. And no no ... maybe the Rockies, but definitely not the Nuggets or Avalanche.
But since you brought 'em up, wanna hear perhaps the greatest coincidence in modern pro sports?
STAN KROENKE ... He's married to one of the Walton girls, and he's the richie-rich owner of the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Rams. In a 16-month span between February 13, 2022 and June 12, 2023, Stan's three teams won:
Super Bowl LVI
Staley Cup Championship
NBA Championship
That will NEVER happen again, you can be sure.

Oh wait ... you don't have airplanes yet in Kansas City?
I didn't mean anything by it, I wasn't making fun, really.
Sad part is I've been nothing but nice these past couple pages. Very complimentary of your team and your quarterback, spoke nothing but the truth, and that STAN KROENKE bit - that's gold, and there's lots more where that came from - I can tell you what team is the NFL's greatest team ever - It's not who you think , but you'll agree when I'm finished explaining it. Even the negative observations I made are the truth. But you guys just keep wailing on me and wailing on me, more and more, page after page. It doesn't say much for you guys........... [Reply]
