He seems to perform better when he is in the 2nd year of the same system ala 2016 season. Carr is in the 2nd year of Gruden system and is performing well. When QB’s go through a different offensive system every year they tend not to do well. I’m sure there is a correlation with most great QB’s having the same system/coach. Carr hasn’t had that. Just off the top of my head I can think of a few QB/coaching systems for top tier QB’s.
Pat actually takes division games seriously, so I doubt we lose many of those.
I would say Andy too, but I'm pretty much convinced his division dominance is an "idiot savant" kind of thing at this point. :-) [Reply]

Slightly better.
QB rating was 113 last year, currently 110.
But 113 is pretty insane for a yearly average. [Reply]

Actually, Pat was significantly better statistically through the first three or four games this season. Better completion rate, more yards per completion, etc. His numbers started suffering with the Colts game, when we were without Hill, Watkins, Fisher, etc. [Reply]

Oh you mean after he was injured? Huh. Who would have thunk it. [Reply]
Kyle Brandt should be relentessly shamed as well for his Raider dick riding. Schrager called it a trap game and Brandt dismissed Schrager like he was clueless. Raiders get spanked by the Jets just as everyone except Kyle Brandt suspected could be possible. [Reply]

In fact, Mahomes first sprained his ankle in week 1. His numbers continued to be on pace for 6,000 yards and 55 TDs until Watkins didn't play in the Colts game, Hill was out, Fisher was out, Wylie went down in that game, Jones got injured, Clark got injured, etc. [Reply]
@RaiderCody so Carr had already pondered retirement once and with his comments last night it appears he certainly is already looking to the end. Perhaps reading into his comment. Any thought on it.
