MIA should trade Tyreek? I get the sentiment, but no. They suck so bad this year that they'll be in position to draft a QB next offseason. They have great weapons, everyone already knew they were a QB away from any real success.

Panthers aren't moving Johnson.Ok, that leaves Hopkins and Cooper.

Amari is 2 years younger, cheaper, and played better last season...so he makes the most sense. But, I don't think Hopkins is a bad get either. Whichever! We could work Hopkins into our cap space pretty easily, we only really need a 1-yr rental anyways so his age doesn't matter that much. Also, say we decided we DID want to sign either to continue on in KC for 1 or 2 more seasons, Hopkins age might actually benefit us because maybe his new contract would be less than Coopers. After all, we'll be pursuing a 4-peat next year! Both are looking for a new deal after this season. Also, Hopkins played with M Brown before so maybe we could end up with both next season.

Imagine, Hopkins comes over for a 5th, Pachecco, Brown, Rice, and Omenihu all come back for the playoffs!!!

Hopkins/Cooper
Rice
Brown
Worthy
JuJu
Watson
+
Kelce
Gray
+
Pachecco
Hunt
Steele
Perine

That's a lot of weapons for Andy & Pat to play with!
No to Hopkins. Dude is damaged goods. He wont last the season.

Another fair take, sounds like he might have a nagging leg injury currently.

Amari then.

I'm sold.

I feel like Cooper makes so much sense, because he is a veteran, he is cheap, and he did have 1000 yards last year with the bad QB situation in Cleveland. The Browns also need draft picks.

I don't want Adams anywhere near the team, because that dude just seems too negative all the time, and Hill would probably cost more draft capital than we would be comfortable giving up, plus he would just be a rental, because we can't afford to pay a WR $30 million. Right?

I do hope we bring in someone better than a practice squad guy. And I kinda hope we make a big swing.

If we weren't going for a 3-peat, I would be fine with just promoting someone already with the organization, but this year's AFC competition may be the closest/toughest in a long time.

If the Panthers know they aren't resigning Johnson, they should absolutely move him.

If the Dolphins are without Tua much longer, they should absolutely trade Tyreek for a haul of picks. They need to rebuild it and it's gonna take more than a QB.

How upset would you be if all Veach does is get MVS back? In a normal year, I could see that being the case, but I think he’s going to shoot higher because of the three peat.

I’ve easily been one of the biggest critics of how we handled last years WR situation. And one of the biggest cheerleaders for making a bold trade here. But look… veach showed serious commitment to the WR position this offseason and mahomes made it very well known he was unhappy about the wr situation. If we don’t land a big name WR I don’t think it’ll be for a lack of trying. Worst case we don’t, we do things ugly for a while. It’s worked before and can continue to work.

I doubt Mvs is at all in play. If we wanted Mvs we could simply play hardman more and ask worthy to play a bigger vertical role. Plus bills won’t trade him to us. . I’ve said before and I know people hate this idea. But I think Demarcus Robinson is a way more intriguing option than we think. I wouldn’t want it to be a primary move but I think it’s a solid secondary and even long term move. He’s a way better back of the rotation option than he gets credit for

MVS makes some plays. As long as Skyy and CEH are on the team, we could sign a bag of cat shit and it would be the third worse player on the team.

Yep. If we can't get a BIG time WR, and IF Rashee can REALISTICALLY come back this season, then Robinson would represent a good option. Especially now since he seems to have learned how to run straight...

The more I think about it, he may very well be a good option regardless.

The one thing about Robinson is he was always open for us. He is terrific playing off script and much as we’ve tried to keep mahomes from being jittery, having that kind of unscripted bailout option would help.double points because he can also provide some intermediate route help. He is not a primary or secondary option and LA is learning that quickly, and we learned that the hard way too. But he’s a nice role player when surrounded with weapons

Exactly. Plus he's very good in the scramble drill.

That would be disappointing considering the other WR options available.

The Chiefs have a rare opportunity to trade for a legit #1 caliber WR in-season.

It's not every year that guys like Cooper, Hopkins, Adams, etc. are realistically available via an in-season trade.

I want Darius Slayton. He’s got similar size as Rashee but he’s a burner running in the 4.3’s. He can take the top off a defense or run intermediate routes.

He could give us some of what we were missing with Rashee. He’s also only 27 and his cap hit is $7.95 million but half of that being paid would fit our cap IMO and only cost a day 3 pick.

Slayton would help potentially going forward if you could sign and or keep him around.
