Nah, that was a great play. Doesn't negate what I said...Derrick Carr made some nice throws throughout his career too.
Winston being reckless is the sole reason your fanbase isnt shitting their collective pants right now...Browns putting up 50 in your house would have been tough to reconcile going into the bye.
Lucky for you that 9 other teams in the AFC are terrible.
Jamis Winston thoroughly outplayed your savior...minus two throws. It was two mediocre teams duking it out...
Didnt they post a stat that all of Nix's ints came when he's trailing? That's not a good trait when it comes to determining the clutch gene...it will likely surface when you have to play winning teams coming up. [Reply]

Yes that was a stat, again he’s a rookie and that first pick was a deflection and the last one was due to a stupid play call and he should have never thrown it.
All teams get some luck… KC has and while they are the 1 seed, they’re not without issues by any means. [Reply]

The real story is the Donks have to play the Chargers (who dominated the first meeting), Burrow (99 points the past 3 games) and the Chiefs w/ Hollywood Brown.
In case you forgot...Mahomes, uncharacteristically, missed two easy TDs. It should have never come to a blocked FG. Of course Donko fans memory-hole this fact.
That defensive performance is going to be scrutinized by these teams...you have three real QBs on the docket.
You lose to the Colts...you'll likely miss your charity invitation. You should be the world's biggest Lions fans... because KC could be playing for HFA. [Reply]

You’re consistent, I’ll give you that… downplaying anything positive about other teams and negative about KC. [Reply]

Jameis gonna Jameis.
This is what he does. Great plays surrounded by catastrophically stupid ones where he just locks onto his target and throws the easiest interception you'll ever see.
Winston threw for 5100 yards and 33 TDs one season. Granted, he threw 30 picks that year as well, but THAT'S the Winston Experience. It's absolutely what he does.
He'll do it to us as well. If he went for less than 325 against us, I'd be surprised. The problem is that seemingly nobody in our secondary is capable of intercepting a ball. But when we play the Browns, the yardage and even quite a few points wouldn't bother me.
The only thing that would is if we couldn't force at least 2 turnovers in that game. That's an AVERAGE Winston day. Because he just stares at his targets.
But man does he have the occasional flashes of spectacular play.
I hope the Giants sign him to start next season. He'd be a really nice bridge option for them (or even the damn Raiders). He's just too damn much fun to watch. [Reply]

It's fair to point out that in the last 5 games since Hopkins has been fully integrated into the offense, Pat has only thrown an interception in 1 of them.
A lot of Mahomes more iffy stat lines turn around quite a bit since the addition of Hopkins. It's helped a lot. Brown will help just as much.
And as for Humphries, I guess we'll see what he's got left. I think he'll look fairly similar to Taylor, to be honest. For some that's going to be enough.
For the rest...well shit fellas, it's gonna have to be. Because that's what we've got. Orlando Pace ain't walking through that door. [Reply]

So it bothers you that one KC fan takes the approach of 99% of Denver fans?
The way Broncos fans talk about KC, you'd think the recent history of these teams was completely reversed. And, of course, every win is either due to a grand conspiracy to prop up the lowly Chiefs or just pure luck. My favorite was when several fans claimed that Forsyth intentionally fell down and allowed the block as part of the script. :-) [Reply]

The ability of Donko fans to correctly identify cheating inst exactly their game...in fact, you would have to live in a world of complete denial to think your team has legitimate trophies.
It's no wonder Nix has fantasies of future SB's swirling in their undiscerning heads. [Reply]

I'd love to see the reaction from Denver fans if multiple officials were confirmed to be KC fans, following an upset win in the Super Bowl and a huge penalty disparity. Including a controversial call after a replay involving a replay official confirmed to be a Denver fan.
They lost their minds over a late hit call when Mahomes was a full two yds out of bounds. :-) [Reply]

My comment was just for him and yeah, most that type on these forums do so in pure Homer fashion. [Reply]
You just won’t see many rational comments from visiting fans here.
I’ll speak for fans of Denver pre-Manning and say we are just happy right now to see quality QB play from Nix and a team that is playing well despite cap issues to sign a few better players.
Most here called Nix a reach and a 4th round talent. I believe he has proven those theories to be incorrect. Nix has a lot of room to improve and I like how the young guys are stepping up. They really need a TE in FA or the draft and the RBBC is a bit failed.
Denver should win 10 games at this point, but they’re not winning a playoff game on the road right now. They can make it interesting, but my expectations have not wavered. I said 9-10 wins and a playoff miss, turns out they are on pace to advance with 4 games left.
The bye comes at a great time. Three straight wins, Colts at home with the Chargers road trip on a short week and then the Bengals and Chiefs.
At this pace, the KC game will be a meaningful one for you guys and the 1 seed. I would enjoy Denver setting KC back in that one. [Reply]

The Denver fans here are 10x more rational than what you'll see on Broncos forums. Even Q Joe looks reasonable by comparison to most of them. :-)
Denver is much improved this year, and should be better next season if Paton and Payton don't screw up the offseason. I still think they're going to find it really difficult to reach first or second in the division anytime soon though. [Reply]
