So what if I'm just repeating myself. Is that any worse than you trying to employ your rules for radicals tactics?
The Chiefs success must be affecting you in some manner, otherwise you wouldn't be here yammering away in the manner that you do. [Reply]
Look, the Broncos are decent to good this year. Nix has been improving every week. Their D is legit.
I dunno, honestly, the Broncos seem to be on the right track. As long as we have Mahomes though, I don't think this will matter much, but it's good for Donkey fans. Anything is better than the abysmal play from the Donks since they lost 5-head. [Reply]
I did tell manchumpo that on the Chiefs fans side, we have the reality that Andy Reid's tenure as Chiefs HC from 2013 to the present is unmatched by any time period in Donkeys history & it was done without any of the Donkeys cheating tactics.
It's also dawned on me that Hank Stram's tenure during the 10-year history of the AFL (3 AFL titles, 2 SB appearances, 1 SB victory) is also unmatched by any time period in Donkeys history & it was also done without any of the Donkeys cheating tactics. [Reply]
Crossing your chest and grabbing the opposite shoulders with your hands is an interesting body posture. Is he protecting himself from the cold new evils that now dwell at the old corral [Reply]
Not sure about him crossing his arms, but he does look and somewhat sounds pretty worn out. Bo's only been in town four months officially, six months overall, and, like Manning, John of course would have to call ahead to clear a visit - otherwise their mere presence disrupts the fans, media, players and staff.
Popped into this thread on an old page, talking about John's all-time ranking and 1987 League MVP award. I've always wondered about that award, but looking here the answer seems obvious:
Rice and Montana split their vote.
The page or two where I popped in, and this page I think miss Elway's true accomplishments:
1) Day he retired, he had won more games, and started more SBs than any other QB 2) In 15 years as full-time starter, advanced to seven AFCCGs and 5 Super Bowls 3) Signed on as Broncos GM in 2011. In his third year, with eight offensive starters his own acquisitions, Broncos fielded the greatest offense in League history in 2013 (won AFCCG, lost SB) 4) Two years later, fielded an historic defense, all 11 starters and four subs w/ most snaps all Elway acquisitions, won SB.
Elway's stats definitely take some of the luster off Elway's career, but check this out:
Everybody knows Aaron Rodgers career stats are better than Elway's - significantly better in most every category: Comp.%, yards, TD passes, Ints, on and on. Yet it happens their career W-L records (reg season, updated this week) records are virtually identical:
The page or two where I popped in, and this page I think miss Elway's true accomplishments:
1) Day he retired, he had won more games, and started more SBs than any other QB, which were just longevity stats & only 3 of his SB starts were legit, the last 2 were fraudulent. 2) In 15 years as full-time starter, advanced to seven AFCCGs and 5 Super Bowls, because most of his seasons his Donkeys benefitted frrom ridiculously easy schedules, especially his last 3 seasons. 3) Signed on as Broncos GM in 2011. In his third year, with eight offensive starters his own acquisitions, Broncos fielded the greatest offense in League history in 2013 (won AFCCG, lost SB), primarily because the Donkeys O-Line was allowed to get away with massive holding & the Donkey receivers allowed to getaway with push-offs and illegal pick plays which Seattle's Legion of Boom castrated in the SB. 4) Two years later, fielded a defense which Donktards falsely label as a historic defense, but it wasn't, all 11 starters and four subs w/ most snaps all Elway acquisitions, which got away with holding opposing receivers at critical times (which was the primary reason for KC going 4-16 on 3rd down conversions in KC's 29-13 win over the Donks in 2015), and were gifted a SB trophy as a going-away present for Manning, same as had been done for Elway in his last 2 seasons.
.
5)Was involved in cheating & violating the salary cap from 1996 -- 1998 because Elway wasn't good enough to earn a legit SB trophy in legit fashion on a level playing field, as evidenced by Super Bowls 21, 22, and 24 where Elway played like a girl & got his buck-toothed head handed to him when Elway did have the chance to earn a SB in legit fashion.
6)Is falsely labeled the 'comeback king', but Donktards aren't aware that Elway played in 100 games where his Donks trailed at the end of the 3rd QTR & Elway brought them from behind to win only 24 times under these conditions. That is 24% and ranks Elway 40th all-time percentage wise under those conditions, with Patrick Mahomes ranking 1st and Joe Montana ranks 5th. Add to that Elway's worst passing stats were in the 4th QTR.
7)Elway's all-time record against teams that were above .500 is 52-47 & Elway's throwing style looked like Elway was pulling a turd out of his back pocket, and repeatedly threw it in off-target, 110 MPH fastball fashion, desperately hoping it would stick to one of his receivers for a completion (but often times it wound up sticking to opposing defenders for an INT -- 8 times in his SB appearances).
8)No QB in SB history that started multiple SB games STUNK UP THE FIELD worse in the SB than Elway did, but Donktards will still sing the false praises of "Elway is a top 5 QB", while ignoring the reality that the number of QB's that also played in multiple SB's & played better than Elway did is in the double-digits (10 or more).
So much for the Elway virtue extolling & the truth is now laid out. And yes, I would take Aaron Rodgers over Elway, because Rodgers threw the football better than Elway & didn't play like a girl in the SB, like Elway did multiple times in the SB. [Reply]
