Okay, it's been a couple of decades since the broncos openly cheated to take a Super Bowl trophy away from us, and it's been almost a decade since the NFL awarded Manning a going-away Super Bowl. The broncos are largely irrelevant, so I'm going to do something I haven't done in a long, long time. I'm going to say something nice about the broncos.
They've got a million holes and are still irrelevant to the Chiefs, but there's actually some talent on that team, and it's possible they could sneak into a playoff spot. I've been impressed by some of their front seven on defense (#99, that guy with the fish name - Bonito?), and Courtland Sutton could be a really good player on the right team. Their quarterback is probably the most pro-ready rookie starter in our division. I think their top end is an improbable wildcard win, but that's better than half the teams in the league.
I'm still not going to show the broncos the respect of capitalizing their team name, though. They earned that snub for life. [Reply]

Last night, Mr. Dempsey and I were discussing how Bo Nix may well be good enough for the NFL to start gifting Denver with Super Bowls once again.

Try again, Donkey doo-doo for brains. Your two main cheating-ass Donkturds aren't with your team anymore. Elway is no longer GM and Bowlen has exited the world.
You may find Bo Nix to be man of integrity, unlike the two aforementioned turdbuckets (and Donktards like yourself), and a man that prefers to earn what he gets in legit fashion on a level playing field rather than have anything gifted to him.
If that turns out to be true, then you can scratch any hopes of seeing the Donks back in the SB. [Reply]

Imagine thinking that Payton doesn’t know how to cheat.
I thought we had plumbed the depths but your stupidity has no bottom. [Reply]

Good times ahead.
Looking up at KC and LAC for another decade is what passes for good times in Denver these days? [Reply]

Don't count on Payton getting away with anything.
And we can look at Shanarat and what happened from 1999 through 2008 as another example.
I’m trying to come up with a weaker response than changing what the other poster wrote.
Coming up blank.
Can you walk me through specifically why the NFL felt compelled to gift Denver with SBs with a mediocre QB like Elway and would not with another pretty good QB now?
As you know, we’re still Denver. We will still cheat any way we can. And we’ve got a head coach who used to issue bounties to injure players. [Reply]

Well, I wasn’t really feeling so optimistic until my conversation with Mr Dempsey but he left me more optimistic than I can recall being about this team in the last decade.
For example, I thought Nix is probably not as good Elway. Wrong.
I also thought it would be really hard to get a QB as good as Elway. Wrong.
Most importantly, I cheer for a team that gets gifted SBs whenever we have a decent QB.

Congratulations on letting everyone know that the fix was correct.

Perhaps Bo Nix isn't the crybaby or cheater that Elway was, and doesn't think he's entitled to have everything his way, like Elway did?

You must be totally illiterate. As I said, Payton won't be getting away with that. After 2009 and having to serve suspension when that came out about bounty-gate circa 2012, nobody has heard hardly a peep about him since.
Your Donks won't be getting to any SB if they have to earn it in legit fashion on a level playing field, regardless of how good Nix becomes. [Reply]
