The funny thing is Cleveland has three times the number of Hall of Famers as Denver (and that is counting players that only played 1-4 years for Denver).
It's all in how you interpret the stats. So, by that number you are not counting 8-8 into the non-winning mix. And, that would exclude the Tebow playoff win year.
Between Elway and Manning, there were only 3 seasons under .500 and there were 5 trips to the playoffs, including an AFC Title game. Was it monumentous success? No, but still better than most in the league. [Reply]
