Dana White hired Snoop Dogg to do fight commentary for his Tuesday Night contender series. It sounds like they are putting together 2 broadcast teams, and letting you pick one. You can either listen to a traditional broadcasting team, or you can select the "SnoopCast" and listen to Snoop Dogg and Urijah Faber.
This is the UFC's international fight week, so lots of UFC this week. They will have their hall of fame induction ceremony Thursday on Fightpass.
Friday
6pm TV - (5pm Fightpass/6pm FS1) - The Ultimate Fighter Finale Johnson vs Gaethje
Pretty weak card as expected for a Friday TUF finale, but what else are you gonna do? There's maybe one or two fights I'm interested in.
Saturday
7pm TV - (5:30pm Fightpass/7pm FS1/9pm PPV) - UFC 213 Nunes vs Shevchenko 2
Losing the Cowboy vs Lawler fight to UFC 214 (which will make that PPV even more incredible) hurts, but this is still a very good PPV. 4 good fights with a random trashweight fight serving as an intermission between the first and last 2 fights. The prelims are also pretty decent.
Tuesday
7pm - (Fightpass) - Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series
OK, so this thing is going to start next Tuesday. I don't want to think about posting the weekend schedule on Mondays, so I'm just going to say that our "week" runs from Wednesday through Tuesday.
You likely will have never heard of most of these fighters, who are all fighting in Dana White's separate, totally not the UFC fight promotion, hoping to earn a contract with the UFC. Why should you watch this? Well, Snoop Dogg is reportedly going to be available along with Urijah Faber on the stream offering alternative commentary during the fight. If I do watch this, it will literally be mostly because of that. [Reply]
Tonight's PPV is now a dumpster fire. Nothing official yet, but Nunes has apparently been sick all week, and was in the hospital this morning. I assume its weight cutting problems, which is usually the case for illnesses during weighin
edit: dumpster fire is too strong of a word, its still a fine PPV, just only about average.
Multiple sources have told me Amanda Nunes is 100 percent off UFC 213 tonight.

Also you can't have a fighter clear medicals the day of the fight. The only people who would be eligible to fight would be anyone who had weighed in yesterday. [Reply]
