And based on lessons learned in one such endeavor, yesterday I held up a big mirror to this thread and everybody in it. You don't have to agree with my conclusions of course, but one does wonder: Why am I not greeted with something somewhere in the ballpark of:
.
"Here's that BroncoBuff guy again ... Hey Buff, what happened to your boy Bo Nix yesterday? Is it true he wants to change positions to WR now?" :-)
At least that would have something to do with football.
Quick responses elsewhere:
No, I had nothing to do with Taco John closing the OrangeMane, although I was his alibi for having done so
Who accused me of not appreciating what Lamar Hunt did for the game? I've been VERY complimentary, I've damn near beatified him for Sainthood in the 4 or 5 days I've been around here, he was a great man. What do I have to do? dig him up and fellate him?
Somebody claimed "the Super Bowl Era" is a more common era for statistical analyses than the "Post Merger Era". I said I'd look it up and I did. It seems the SB Era is favored when Super Bowls are the topic, But because scheduled interplay between all 28 teams began in Post-Merger Era, that's the more generally favored era
Dempsey again, I tried to explain we were the poorest team in the league, I gave you short clippings to read about the baseball stadium that required massive upgrades to meet NFL requirements, and explained that was the biggest problem with cash flow even after Sonny Werblin's TV contract came in
That's a big reason why we couldn't sign anybody or spend any money ... And it was Dempsey or somebody who accused the Broncos of being "horrible drafters" during the AFL days.
Au contrare!
Our three years 1962 to 1965 are legend. Didn't sign any of 'em, but drafted SEVEN future Hall of Famers In those three years:

CHEATERS! NEVER won anything without CHEATING. And Pat Bowlen was the CHEATING ASS CLOWN owner who was exposed by Al Davis - Al ****ING Davis of all people! And they're YOUR HEROS. :-):-):-)
*Denver Broncos: Violated the Salary Cap during Super Bowl seasons. TWICE! [Reply]
If you insist on devoting such a substantial portion of your attention to hate, at least TRY to get it right! I said NOTHING of the kind ... I said that in the unlikely event that calls are being steered your way, I'm sure it's just the refs/league, and the team has nothing to do with it. I guess I also said the funny calls I see are all PI - slightly suspicious cuz they're so potentially result-altering and they're non-reviewable.
If I referred to anything as something I had "never seen before," it must've been Mahomes' 'seizures' on the sidelines. "You were supposed to warn us!" ??? ... YIKES! The wrong kinda Q-Anon conspiracy guy could run with that, sounds like he thinks the refs violated some agreeeee-muhmuhmuh!- whoops! (I don't think that)
And whoops again, I'm prolly talking to a room fulla Q-Anon disciples ... WWG1WGA!
Usually such things draw a quick warning from the refs. Hence, why it had never been called before in Andy Reid's decades-long career. Same with the Dee Ford incident. No one denied that they were technically penalties; just that the timing couldn't have been worse, and these situations usually draw a warning rather than a flag at a critical juncture. Not too different from the logic of KC haters--you can't deny that Mahomes was hit two yds out of bounds in the AFCC--you just didn't like the timing. Very suspiiiiicious!
Apparently there's a YUGE difference between a ref agenda and "suspicious" calls?

Oh my GAWD!
Does every single one of you morons do this? Make up quotes so you can win arguments?!?!
I'm AGAINST teams knuckling under and changing names! Why? Because nobody's putting on a uniform with native or indigenous peoples names all over as an insult! It's the very definition of honoring those peoples!
GO READ IT AGAIN! I suggest franchises like the Chiefs take after the Atlanta Braves, now THEY'RE smart. They've been reaching out to area tribes, making friends, inviting participation in the club etc....
Here NWO, You should apologize. You won't, but you should:
The fact you deliberately chose that creepy **** Colbert as you avatar is all anyone really needs to know about you...generally, people pick someone they aspire to be like.

Interesting ... but NEVER an offsides call against the offense? Never In what, damn near 30 years as a HC?
Kinda hard to "warn" with that big clomper across the line like that. And I didn't use the word suspicious to direct any attention on the chiefs.
Yes, they count, of course they count. I chose not to include them in this specific statistical analysis because straight up competition was not the number one goal of our team during a good portion of the afl years.
PENALTY QUESTION
Do you see a penalty on this play? I do. Why do you think it wasn't called? Why do you think the Chargers didn't complain? I really don't know the answer to either question........
BB, what's the point of comparing numbers between 1970 and 2018?
We could remove the Elway and Manning years and then make a comparison, but that would seem desperate and, dare I say...obsessive? What do you think, lil bro? [Reply]

Sure, and you probably also stick one finger in your mouth & one in your arse & rotate those fingers whenever you hear a bird chirp & try to walk on your elbows -- all at the same time, too.
SO WHAT ??
At the end of the day your cheating, joke-level franchise is still stuck with an all-time SB record of 0 wins, 5 losses, and 3 given to them -- and there will never be any QB that they can draft that can help them with that.

That is just "straight up" BS.
Are you a big enough fool to suggest that the Donks weren't trying to compete when they acquired the services of RB Cookie Gilchrist (who many regarded the greatest RB in AFL history)?
