Actually the reality is that the Broncos are the defending super bowl champions and just beat the best team in the NFC from last season. I think it is others in this thread who are making up excuses that struggle with reality. [Reply]

The Panthers are a good team, and probably still a playoff team, but they won't be the best team in the NFC this year. You can take that to the bank. [Reply]

I'd be interested in hearing who you think will be the best team in the NFC this year (this is a real football question). I happen to think the Panthers are still the most talented team in the NFC - but they have got to quit using their qb in a college way. Don't have him block in designed run plays or run it up the gut. You will get your guy killed that way and the refs will remove any qb privileges which is why he gets creamed without any calls. You can't go out and throw devastating blocks one play and then not want to be touched the next! [Reply]

His lame ass wasn't on here bragging at half-time....when they were dominated in the first half. Sure as shit wouldn't be here if the first FG counted... [Reply]
First game with no tape...I wouldn't get too excited. Semenboy threw one TD..which was a 25 yard screen. Took 10 plays in the redzone...two of which were nearly intercepted.
Their new FB isn't going to surprise anyone going forward. [Reply]

Seahawks have such a horrible o-line otherwise I would agree. Packers d is suspect. If the cardinals could ever figure it out they would be dangerous. NFC doesn't impress me this year. [Reply]
Blah blah blah. Yep, Denver won at home by one on a missed field goal. Spin that how you want, on both sides. Truth is, there were several blatant bad or non calls made by the refs, in Denvers favor and at critical times, that affected the outcome. That's a fact. Hell, even the announcers mentioned two of them. Was it intentional manipulation? Hell, who knows. However, it was real. [Reply]
