Honestly, do not remember a single accusation of referee favoritism in those years.
Then you only hear what you want to. Plenty of people brought attention to the fact that a replay official involved in a huge and controversial call was a confirmed Denver fan. And get this…he wasn’t even the only confirmed Denver fan among the officiating crew.
