I choose not to count AFL stats, I read both Lamar Hunt biographies, I know we had the poorest of all AFL owners, and were concerned with survival first. I'm proud of the AFL, I'm proud it was the only upstart renegade League ever to have no teams fold, no teams go belly up. Thanks to Lamar Hunt.
By "we" do you mean the fucking NFL? Because if so, then yes, "we" are counting them. [Reply]

Seriously..... Come on you guys! You're kicking everybody's asses right now, go off and enjoy all that, forget about this stupid Broncos obsession..... [Reply]

You sound like Biden supporters. It doesn't matter how incompetent and unqualified your team is, you just stick your fingers in your ears and drink the koolaid from the other delusional sheeple who refuse to see the truth right in front of your face. And to top it all off, you know that your side has no defense, so you dig deep to find someway, somehow to make the other side look bad so that you can justify in your twisted mind that your side is somehow better. But alas, the truth is, the Chiefs and Trump are far superior to the Donks and Senile Biden/slurtt Kamala. [Reply]

You moron! Minor leagues don't merge with the major league. The AFL was a legit league that was direct competition to the NFL. That's why they merged. You have some pathetic reasoning. SMH [Reply]
For the last time, the violations concerned the deferment of players salaries without NFLPA notice or approval, serious CBA union violations. But none of it affected on-field competition (and trying to prove or disprove competitive advantage by looking at what players were added to the roster during those years is ridiculous).
Call the league office on Park avenue in New York City, tell them you're calling on behalf of Chief's Planet, and ask what they do to police the salary cap. They will tell you they check every roster every week to police the cap. And the only violations that affected on-field competitive balance occurred as a fallout of the uncapped year in 2009. That's what they told me when I called 6 or 8 years ago. [Reply]
Why are you so defensive about what opposing fans think of your cheating franchise? Why do you come to another team's forum and try to defend their cheating actions to us? Are you really that insecure about your team? Maybe, you need validation because, deep down, you know that your champion's are all tainted. Superface 50 was an embarrassment to the league. Well. You're not getting any validation here. We aren't drinking the donkey piss flavored koolaid. Give it up [Reply]
Guys..... the people who MAKE the decisions have already decided!
(Mods, I mentioned Trump not for politics but as comparison: his complaining about the "stolen election" after the courts have ruled on it is the same thing). [Reply]

We don't have to call the league office & ask them SQUAT. There is nothing that they can tell us that changes or alters the fact that the Donkeys had players on their roster in Elway's final two years that they had no business having (and thereby altering competitive balance). [Reply]

Nope, not being defensive ... and don't need validation.
I am merely reacting to the repetitive and obsessive takes you guys are living on. It's pretty twisted to be so relentlessly obsessive with Broncos hate ... then accuse ME of being defensive! 🤣 [Reply]

Wrong terminology. Your Donkeys have EARNED the hatred and the reasons for that have been spelled out with undoubtable clarity throughout this thread. [Reply]

I'm sorry you have so little respect for the League and the Packers, Falcons, etc ...
Here is yet another angle that destroys your conclusion: The improper private salary deferment agreements were done without notice to the Union or the League. So then, if the League didn't know, then how the hell were the resultant lower salaries made part of their calculations of Denver's salary cap such that we had more room to sign players? Either they knew we'd lowered those players current year salaries or they didn't, which is it? [Reply]
