No, 9 wins would project a winning record and I don’t think anyone here claimed that. Maybe one or two said 8, but it was a majority vote of under .500
Quite a few had them starting 0-5. Either way, it’s splitting hairs at this point. [Reply]

I know I saw someone predict 9 wins. Regardless, you said that most were predicting 4 or less. Not exactly splitting hairs. [Reply]

They're not even in the same class. Chango is a pussy coward that only shows up if the Donx win.
rfaulk talks shit, but he shows up win or lose. My money would be on him, for the simple fact that he's not a coward. [Reply]

I'm pretty sure a bunch of them think they're a legit contender for the division. Somebody at Huddle predicted a sweep of KC. :-) [Reply]

If only they could play the Panthers every week...they did this same shit last year with that fluke streak of turnovers...and their fans started to believe they were a WC team.
Their string of playing bottom-feeders just ended...that is as good as it gets for them in 2024. [Reply]

4 of the Broncos 5 wins are against teams that are absolute disasters.
Beating Tampa when they did was a nice win, but I think we all are seeing how bad the Tampa defense is.

Denver gets a tough back to back now.
Indeed and yeah, they’re playing bad teams based upon the ‘23 finish.
At Ravens this week is very tough, and they had their eyes opened by CLE. Jackson and Henry will likely feast and the Denver offense will struggle. Denver doesn’t win this one.
Then it’s at KC and while they are undefeated, Mahomes and company have not been prolific. That being said, the Chiefs win that one, probably by 13.
Puts Denver at 5-5 and hosting the Falcons. The Falcons offense can rock, but they’re not unbeatable for Denver. The Broncos will either be 5-6 or 6-5 after 11.
The next 3 are at the Raiders, then home vs CLE and IND. Denver can win 2 of those. Puts them at 7-7 or 8-6.
Final 3 are at the Chargers, at the Bengals and home vs KC. They’ll win one of those, maybe 2, but I’ll stick with 1.
So it’s looking like 8-9 or 9-7, pretty much where I had them in the preseason.
They need to beat the Raiders, Chargers, Chiefs in Denver and one other and I’ll be content. [Reply]

I wouldn't be sad if they did though. The most annoying trope in the "NFL community" these days is overrating teams like the Ravens and Bills for their style points win and being point differential champions.
Hell, I'll admit it.
I'm OPENLY rooting for the Donkos this week. Them hanging another L on the Ravens pretty much eliminates Baltimore from #1 seed consideration. We could officially mark them off the list. That just leaves Buffalo and Houston, which we'll have the opportunity ourselves to take care of later in the season.
GO BRONCOS! (yuck, that felt dirty)
That said, likely zero chance it happens. Good luck against a pissed off Ravens team in their own backyard. [Reply]

Well, good chance you will beat the Chiefs in Denver. KC will likely be sitting all their impact starters that day.
