This is a massive hole that is filled for the #chiefs. Trent McDuffie is considered by almost everyone as the 3rd best CB in this draft. The first two went off the board at 3 and 4.

The @Chiefs make a big move for a top CB (and my model's #8 overall prospect) in Trent McDuffie, who allowed 3.1 yards/target in 2021 at Washington (best in FBS, min. 30 targets).

Could be a key piece to counter the wealth of receiving talent in the AFC come playoff time!

That tackle on the screen was the first play of the game. And he beautifully baited Burrow.

He’s dropped about 4 picks this year but that’s okay. He’s gonna be a damn good corner. I see why they traded up for him.

Trent McDuffie is a valuable piece of the Chiefs defense in the slot.

1. Sheds the block with ease and makes the tackle for a short gain on a screen pass

There was a lot of slipping during the game for both teams. Heck, that is what caused Toney to tweak his knee.

Yeah, I mentioned it somewhere but the field really did look pretty rough. Then again, it seemed our guys had more problems keeping their footing than theirs did so I wonder if it was a simple shoes issue.

Seems unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

We had lots of slippage out there.
