Some fun here. Edwards-Helaire rushed for 1,415 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior .. all-purpose yards -- receiving (55 receptions, 453 yards) and kick returner (KEY) 10 returns, 214 yards pic.twitter.com/3Duq1jjy6J
Holy offense Bat Man. I love Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He is best Rb in the draft. Watkins and Hill deep. Kelce in the middle. And Edwards-Helaire underneath. Good Luck defenses.
Brett Veach told Andy Reid to watch some Clyde Edwards-Helaire film and told Reid you’ll see Brian Westbrook. Reid watched. Then got back to Veach and said he’s better than Westbrook.
I think the combine has been one of the most detrimental aspects of player evaluation, sometimes people are greater than the sum of their parts , and the numbers sometimes clouds evaluators judgments, Tom Brady , Jerry Rice etc
NFL I think is the only big sports that puts so much emphasis it. Wayne Gretzky would not been the number one pick based on metrics alone. [Reply]
The impression I’m getting from #Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is that the team will utilize both Clyde Edwards-Helaire AND Damien WIlliams in their 2020 offense.

If it was the first pick in the top 10, your argument would have some merit.
Fortunately, the Chiefs were at 32. That's basically high 2nd round pick.
He runs with instinctive eyes and quick-cut foot speed. He doesn't really have tells or tendencies and can alter the rush track when needed, which makes him so unpredictable for defenses.
He's only 21. Had 6.6 YPC on the ground, and was targeted 58 times, caught 55 of them. Edwards-Helaire broke 70 tackles on just 214 carries this season while gaining 782 of his 1,419 yards after contact.
If the comp I'm hearing this guy is being compared to either Ray Rice or Murice Jones-Drew, that's a very good comp. [Reply]

Rice was a 4,4 guy, MJD a 4,3, that is a lot different than a 4,6.
I simply prefer Taylor over CEH, is that ok? This...STOP THAT, YOU GO WITH CEH GOT IT......hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! I'll go with a two time Doak Walker winner, and the fastest RB in the draft, yep.....no problem, [Reply]
