#Broncos offensive players and their PFF positional rankings:
• QB Bo Nix (32nd)
• RB Javonte Williams (41st)
• RB Jaleel McLaughlin (43rd)
• WR Courtland Sutton (76th)
• WR Josh Reynolds (19th)
• WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey (72nd)
• TE Greg Dulcich (63rd)
• TE Adam Trautman (52nd)
• LT Garett Bolles (63rd)

• C Luke Wattenberg (33rd)

• RT Mike McGlinchey (35th)
There has been nothing good on offense. Bo Nix has been your leading rusher in each of the first two games. Courtland Sutton has five completely meaningless receptions. Greg Dulcich dropped a couple passes Sunday at completely inopportune times - his hands appeared to get in the way. Marvin Mims has been persona non grata - has played something like 20 snaps in the two games combined. The RBs have done nothing - almost literally. Except that Tyler Badie gets in for one play in the 2nd quarter against the Steelers, has the best run that the team has had in two games (16 yards, and looked like he actually wanted to be there), and then doesn't get another snap.
You can obviously argue that they're not a good team. But they're not as bad as they've looked through the first two weeks. Four months from now, they're not going to have averaged 265 total yards a game on offense. Their best RB is not going to finish the season with 300 yards rushing (the current pace). Whether he's a starting-caliber NFL QB or not, Bo Nix isn't going to finish the season with 3000 yards, 0 TDs, and 34 INTs (his current pace).
It's hard, at this point, to even know what to be angry about - other than "all of it." (Actually, the special teams has looked great - so there's that.) And I'd still rather watch this - whatever this is - than Russell Wilson incapable of throwing anything between the hashmarks, and bailing on every pocket that isn't perfectly formed. But it's not good. [Reply]

1. Denver lacks talent, and is not good
2. Yes they are as bad as they look
3. Bo Nix is a back up not a starter
4. Paton is the worst GM in the league
5. Payton is only in it for the $$$
6. Owner is clueless [Reply]

It starts at the top. Payton and Paton are fucking awful at their jobs respectively. You have next to no high end talent on that roster besides Surtain and maybe Meinerz.
I genuinely think they should shut Nix down for the year and throw Stidham or Wilson into the fire. Leaving him out there with this awful cast of weapons and poorly performing OL will permanently damage any miniscule chance he has of being anything at the NFL level.
On a personal note, wanted to extend my sympathies for your friend that passed away. From what I've gleaned it sounded like it was sudden and shocking. Genuinely sorry to hear that. [Reply]

Would not be surprised if the tanking is deliberate...if he gets fired, he still gets paid.
Takes a QB that no other team had a 1st round grade on at 12...
No real reason to cut Tim Patrick...the only WR Nix seemed to connect with. They has already shipped off Jeudy. Who exactly are they expecting their rookie QB to throw to?
I mean the dude was stealing drugs from the team to support his addiction...got suspended for putting bounties on players for a year....not exactly a choirboy. Saw a cash grab opportunity and took it...so to ride off into retirement. [Reply]
Any ESPN/NFLN talking head who seriously picked the Donks to make the playoffs - and there were a handful - should be immediately fired.
The Donks franchise died when Pat Bowlen's Alzheimer's took over. Love him or hate him, he was the heart and soul of that franchise. He ain't ever coming back, and I don't see the Donks ever coming back either. [Reply]

Thats what makes that pick so bad for them. They passed up actual talent for Bo Nix at 12. Just sayin, theyed be a lot better off with Stidham and Bowers instead of Bo Nix. They will pick in top 5,6 next year and would have a better shot at a much better QB prospect than Bo Nix. [Reply]
