Best NFL player this century, I think, is on the table. Right now that’s Maclin. Not a huge bar to leap.

It's Justin Smith, unless you mean offense.

Would been national champs 10 years ago if DGB was anything near Burden.

I can't even remember what the fuck happened to DGB. Didn't he eventually transfer out for some reason?

Eh - how would that have changed the outcome in the SEC Championship game?
We had it on our bracket and the defense folded.

I'd put Bolton in front of Maclin.

At the moment I mean college career. You never know what a guy will do in the pros, but I definitely thinks he's going to end up being the best college player to play here.

Well that's Chase Daniel by a country mile.

Huh. You might actually be right. Nothing wrong with Maclin as an NFL player but Bolton may have already accomplished more.

Not sold but I agree he’s in the conversation. Not sure we win the SB last year without him.

If we are using the “dollars earned per play” metric you’re 100% correct. Not sure it’s even close. Wondering how that metric ranks all time, now that I think about it.
Aldon Smith should win this award. Could have been one of the best ever.

I think you can control the clock better with someone like Bur to keep that Defense off the field so long.
