The Broncos certainly cheated on the salary cap and they certainly used foreign substances on their jerseys, but I actually think the biggest factor was coaching their offensive line to dive at the sides and backs of defenders' knees. They were able to bypass their weakness at quarterback and had a bunch of training camp running backs running for a thousand or more yards.

I was watching a Chiefs game at a Packers bar years ago (they weren’t playing each other) and I went to the lot to burn and 2 Packer fans one with a Favre and the other Rodgers jerseys on got into a fight on the parking lot.
