I feel genuinely happy to hear you say that. It shows a confidence in yourself that is heartwarming and inspiring. Chiefs dominate in their record versus the donkshow team in pretty much every category, except two:
– Most Super Bowl appearances
– Highest winning % since 1970
I mention this because that's all the football honor donkshow fans have left, to cling onto. Once Mahomes destroys these records in the next 5 seasons, there will be no sense of pride left for the :-) [Reply]

Pasta is something else.
The guy has been right for 9 years straight.
If he goes 10 straight then forget about it. [Reply]

That second one can go fuck itself. It's completely irrelevant.
The Donks were complete trash in the early days, and that's on their record. They have to live with it. [Reply]

He had a 140 QBR in the last game. He completed 8 of 9 at 9 yards per completion. He scored on all but one of his drives in the two games so far.
It is preseason, but it’s not like all QBs do that in preseason.
And, is his ceiling as high as Mahomes? I doubt it but it’s not reasonable to expect that a QB picked at 12 would be one of the best QBs in history.
And here’s your problem. Even if Nix is “good” aka not a bust it still isn’t gonna be good enough. Notice anything about Manning and Brady’s top 5 QB’s list?
Tom Brady and Peyton Manning dropped their Top 5 QB list.
This is all AFC QB’s, and that’s not even including Stroud who looks like he’ll be on this list this year.
None of these guys outside of Rodgers is even 30 years old. You’re dealing with pretty much all these guys for at least the next 10 years. And you’ll have to beat 2, maybe 3 of them in order to get to the SB. Did I mention that 2 of those guys are in your division?
If Nix is Purdy it still won’t be enough. SF doesn’t reach the SB in this conference and neither will you. [Reply]

The AFC is certainly stacked with young top QBs and that makes the AFC path to the SB very difficult for all of them. Certainly won't be easy and all Broncos' fans can do is sit back and watch to see if Nix can get to a level that competes consistently. Only one of those top QBs listed is the apex predator, the others are all very good, but they have not proven to be 'the guy' that PM is right now.
Great article. Nix is the same guy doing the same shit against backup players.

But let’s dive into those. To start, while Nix played with Broncos starters, it was against a Packers defense that did not play most of its starters and sat back in a passive version of Cover-3 for much of the game (eight of Nix’s 12 dropbacks).
Against Green Bay, Nix had an average depth of target of just 3.8 yards, per TruMedia. His average depth of completion was 4.5 yards past the line of scrimmage. Among 74 quarterbacks who threw at least five passes in preseason Week 2, his aDOT ranked 68th (Wilson was 67th and Stidham was 69th).
This carried over from the first preseason game. Nix had a higher aDOT against the Colts (7.1) but still only had a 4.9-yard average depth of completion. Both his aDOT and average depth of completion are near the lower end of rookie quarterbacks this preseason, while Nix has the second-most dropbacks of the group.
