- Early career production - Dynamic threat downfield & after the catch - Elite speed & start-stop ability - Fluid mover w/ good route running chops - Ball tracking is A+
Not entirely sure why the vibe isn't higher when talking about him in the WR class. pic.twitter.com/dv3JjdyZgh
I'll write something fresh about Worthy tomorrow morning now that he's a Chief to lay out how he's more than speed, but for now here's an excerpt from article linked in the below tweet... https://t.co/EcW7QtUrFFpic.twitter.com/811ahCEfMS

One is a massive hit. One is just a bust. One is a pretty average return for a 2nd round pick.
Saying they “struggle to evaluate WR” is just a stretch.
Chiefs had the stankiest wide receivers in the league last year and that's not even up for debate. Led the league in drops... You can either blame that on scheme and the QB or the GM that signed them. [Reply]

please share what you would have done different last off season with the Chris Jones situation? [Reply]

And that required a player who had been solid the year before suddenly not being solid at all, until the playoffs (Valdes-Scantling), a young player not progressing (Moore) and another young player not progressing (Toney) and veteran insurance getting injured early and never plugging in (James).
And a FA market that went a little higher than expected while Chris Jones’ unexpectedly played hardball and tied up a huge cap number.
And a meh draft class at WR that wasn’t super deep. [Reply]

But you were right about the kid from Oregon... jesus he's slid.
Adonai Mitchell had some weird stuff swirling around him. So apparently he’s a type 1 diabetic who doesn’t control his blood sugar properly and when he goes low he comes across as abrasive.
Can a billion dollar organization help him with that?
I guess some teams too lazy to consider putting together a plan for that.
Franklin who knows. We’ll get the real info only after he comes off the board. [Reply]

Dude can’t even manage his chronic health condition with a great medical team’s support at Texas. Of course pro teams had the logical perception he isn’t mature or passionate or the face of a franchise. I see kids managing their diabetes with tools widely available and this adult with he best resources at his fingertips can’t do it. The Diabetes is just an excuse for being a shit person or he’s a lazy, unmotivated, waste of talent. Either way - most GMs didn’t want him.
Fact is, you were wrong. Experts with actual NFL jobs didn’t think he was an ‘alpha’. [Reply]
