Worthy has averaged 50 YPG the last month. Hes really coming on like Rice did last year.
Aside from the obvious LT problem, they need to get that RB talent to go with Pacheco bc we’ve seen how much that makes a difference in the small sample size with Perine and Pacheco creating explosive plays.
They really miss what Jerrick McKinnon provided. I know I keep beating that horse to death but it’s a low huge need to fill.
Between recovery and suspension, Rice will be lucky to play half a season next year. [Reply]

Pacheco getting back up to speed. Hollywood on his way back. Call me crazy but I believe 100% in the law of averages. After a couple big drops DHop is going to deliver an incredible catch or two when it matters most.
Agreed.
And btw, DHop has only one official drop on the season. And he's delivering a 120.3 PR. [Reply]

Coincidentally I was watching highlights of the Bengals game earlier today and really noticed the pop he had after the catch. Dude got went North at a breaking speed. And he was kind of a load to bring down.
Our offense has really missed him in the short and intermediate. [Reply]

Rice is the only WR on this team who can consistently generate YAC. He could make something out of nothing. Worthy has the speed but he doesn't have the vision or ability to break tackles that Rice showed last year as a rookie. Hopkins isn't running away from anyone and the other WRs are MEH. Brown is more of a speedster who can stretch the field. He's also a complete unknown in this offense.
They need to invest in WR again in the draft and obviously in the offseason. They won't have a choice since Rice and Worthy are the only WRs currently on the roster for 2025. Between WR and the D-line, we could see a large overhaul. [Reply]

Rice was on pace for 1600+ yard season. Small sample in 3 games but he was balling. Looked to have taken that next step. [Reply]

And again, Rice might miss more than half of next season between the injury and the looming suspension. They're going to need more WRs. [Reply]

Not sure he’ll miss more than 6 weeks. His court date is this month so we’ll see.
He’d likely be on PUP for 6 weeks anyway dude to his injury recovery so I’m not worried.
But that’s why they need to get more weapons at RB and WR. With Kelce retiring soon and Worthy/Rice on deals, you can really afford to keep Hollywood for 2-3 years at a fair rate IMO. And if not him you can try for Elijah Moore who is similar.
We really do miss the weapon McKinnon was at RB and it shows. This is the best Rb draft in years and it’s deep. Would love to get one of those guys with one of our 3rd rd picks. [Reply]

I'm sure Mahomes would welcome Kadarius Toney back........ [Reply]

The NFL is not going to suspend him until he's active. If he's in PUP for 6 weeks and he gets a 4-week suspension, that's 10 weeks.
There's like zero chance Goodell let's his recovery and suspension occur concurrently. That's just not the way it works. [Reply]

Nope. I thought the same as you for the longest time but they’ll do it at the same time.
In 2023 Michael Woods for the Browns was suspended and served it during his rehab time for an ACL tear.
They did it at the same time bc it’s about not getting a paycheck during the suspension. [Reply]

Nah - the Chiefs just won't IR him.
Once the suspension is announced, if the Chiefs don't IR him, the NFL can't rightly PROVE that he wasn't able to play. Those will run concurrently at the start of the year.
He'll be back at full gallop by October at the latest. [Reply]
