I am not much of a jewelry dude. No bracelets, necklaces, occasionally a decent watch. Not even a wedding band.
I wear a decent Fitbit metal banded (daily) watch for a watch (time) and to monitor steps and such. My son doesn't wear one because he has his phone to look at the time. Not me, I need to glance at my "watch" to see the time, not dig my phone out of my pocket.
It is hard to accessorize for a guy, IMO, other than a watch and or a ring.
I have some decent watches that I wear for special occasions, not daily. My job doesn't need that. I am sure that there is some though.
Back to rings. My go to is wedding band, college ring. Not daily though.
Was never one for watches or necklaces. Just 1 stainless steel wedding band. Never take it off. My true wedding ring stays in the safe. It is 18k white gold with diamonds and sapphires. [Reply]

A wedding ring, a gold KC Chiefs pinky ring on my right hand and a gold chain around my neck. I've had watches but I've always spent a lot of time on the golf course and I don't like wearing a watch while I play golf. For a number of years I carried a pocket watch on a chain but most pants these days don't have a watch pocket so I quit doing that and like a lot of folks I just look at my cell phone for the time. Which brings me to an idea I've had for a while now. I want an I phone or something similar that's encompassed in case like a pocket watch. A Smart Pocket Watch! It would look like a traditional old fashioned pocket watch in gold or silver or some other precious metal. It would be cool and fashionable. I worry about how the tech would work when combined with a metal though. :-)
I actually lost my wedding band in the hall on my wedding night , friend found in the following day during clean up , put in a drawer in my bedroom that day and it hasn’t left that spot . I have seen too many swollen fingers swallowing up rings that once I found out how hard it can be to cut off tungsten rings , I parked it. [Reply]
Other than wedding bands, extra rings on men seems like something for bikers or guys in the 1970s/80s hanging out at The River Market grocery markets or The Shady Lady strip club. [Reply]
So, to end the discussion. My wife saw the ring and was not impressed. At least she noticed whilst playing cards:-) I didn't expect it. I like the ring. It brings back old memories. I am not a jewelry person. I will wear it on special occasions when I feel like it. Much like some of my nice (kinda) watches, not daily wear.
It only cost $80. Not braking the bank...
It has been interesting to hear some of fellow CP'ers thoughts. In the end, it is what makes you happy. I will wear it on occasions and see who notices it. Fun and games!
So in the end, daily is a Fitbit metal banded watch. I can't go with out a watch and steps. I look at the time too many times to fish in my pants for a phone:-) [Reply]
Wore my grandfather’s wedding band for years. Then one day I was chainsawing some trees and brush on my property. I cut through one decent-sized log but it didn’t fall over. Upper branches were caught with other branches. I grabbed it with my left hand to move it. The log came loose and fell over rather quickly, pinning my hand between the upright log and the stump. The upright log wasn’t real heavy and would not have don’t major damage but it did catch my gold wedding ring, bending it a bit but making it kind of pinch. I got it off that night with soap and water but was reluctant to put it back on.
My wife wants me to wear a ring so she found a rubber wedding ring. Easy to get on and off. Won’t pinch. Easy to take on and off. I sometimes wear a formal watch but usually just a leather wrist band from this company:
Haven't wore a watch since the advent of the I-phone. Wore one when I worked in a secured area but I hate watches now. Always wore my wedding ring and don't take it off. [Reply]
I wear a wedding ring - the original my wife got me 31 years ago, and a college ring my wife bought me for my 30th birthday 27 years ago. I wear them everyday and only take them off if I’m working outside or playing golf :-) [Reply]

First aid kit with a couple extra tourniquets, notebook, pens, pencils, box cutter with extra blades, epipen when I have my nephew with me. Laptop or tablet, extra mags, flashlight, extra batteries for flashlight and reflex sight. Got a strap on the outside to carry my jacket or hoodie, or my youngest daughter’s teddy bear when she wants to bring it [Reply]
