Better comparison would be the world closing the gap on the USA in basketball (which has happened significantly in the past few decades)
Literally only two countries in the world play American football and one is tiny in compared to the others, so the USA will never lose ground on that [Reply]

Sure. I was just making a point of what it would feel like, not what could happen. Basketball is a fair comparison even though it's not the heart and soul anymore. It definitely is embarrassing when USA basketball loses. [Reply]
