I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.
KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.
One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future. [Reply]

This is a game we would have lost in previous years due to a lack of depth. We played like absolute crap, and still beat a team with 8 Sr's. I'll take it.

Silver lining? KSU would never have lost this game previously due to lack of depth. Our Wooly talent would lost it anyway.

As further proof that the Huggins/Martin hires are complete failure, Cats on TV outside of Kansas for the 2nd time in first 5 games(counting the 360 game). Wooly would have taken till the conference tournament to get that much exposure. [Reply]
