Interesting listen. Thanks.
Sounds like the kid has a good head on his shoulders and isn't coming in all "yo I got this."
You could also tell he was REALLY fucking pissed at his 40 time. [Reply]
He seems like a long shot to make the 53 but I would love to see it happen. He's saying all the right things in that interview. Working out with Pat in Texas and spending time on the iPad learning the play book seems like he is putting in all the work he can do so far. [Reply]

they pulled his international excemption. That means either they think he sucks, no way he’s making the team or any NFL team or they are convinced he’s making the team and see something in him. [Reply]

Why would they do that ? Is there any benefit? [Reply]

Presumably it means they think he is a strong chance to feature in at minimum practice squad with call ups so are looking to free up the IPP exemption slot to bring in another developmental project. [Reply]

Really? I hadn’t seen this.
Admittedly this dude was the first I’d heard of it but it seems like a free way to keep an extra dude. [Reply]

Yeah, Nick Jacobs and Matt Derrick were both raving about how fast he looked and also said he wasn't as raw as they expected. Nick said he's the closest player in terms of build in the legs to Tyreek Hill.
The dude has real pedigree having exceled in another professional sport so I'm not sure I'd just write him off as any random training camp hero.
It will be *so* much fun if he can carve out a role. [Reply]

I hadn't seen this... but apparently, they only get one exception.
