Eh, he is what he is. He was never a great or even really good NFL RB, just average and competent. Thing about Perine has always been that he gets you about 4 yds/carry. Even in the RZ, where the LBs are closer to the LoS, he'd get you 4 yds more often than not. And he's decent in pass pro and he can catch those little flares or screen passes. Nothing special, just fairly reliable. I mean, at this point, I'd rather have him back there than either Steele or CEH. [Reply]

I mean, on the field, Andy can trust Kareem. He might be the best RB Reid has ever had in terms of overall skill. He's at least on the same plane as Shady, even a bit better in short yardage. Obviously, Kareem is to blame for their divergence in career stats but the skill has always been there. [Reply]
I think Hunt is more important than Pacheco. Yes Pacheco is more explosive and will be more valuable on 1st down but I don't want to run on first downs anyway. Hunt is extremely useful inside the red zone, on short yardage and in the 4th quarter when the opposing defense is worn down.
Save him. Play CEH and Steele for garbage carries more. [Reply]

Very true!
Speaking of CEH, I just want him back to take hits. [Reply]
Kareem really busted that game open for us last night. LAte in the game once he got some lanes he was basically putting the team on his back and crushing the Bucs.
So happy we took a chance on him and you can tell he's overjoyed to be back here. [Reply]

Problem is we don't have many garbage carries. These fucking games keep being close. [Reply]
I think we all have a TON more confidence in the red zone now with Kareem running in goal line situations and DHop there to catch anything thrown his way. Add in Kelce and the red zone is the Chiefs' bitch! [Reply]
