Nzoner's Game Room>Sheduer Sanders
UteChief 11:04 AM 10-05-2024
Perhaps it’s because I’m older and don’t like drama, but I wouldn’t consider drafting Sheduer Sanders because I wouldn’t want to deal with the circus around him.

Am I being a hater or do NFL front offices consider such things when taking players? I can see an NFL owner falling in love and wanting the media attention and excitement around my organization, $$$! But as a GM I wouldn’t touch him.

No, those were the only examples I could come up with that came close to the same situation.

That teams will draft guys high even if they have shitty personalities or shitty annoying families.

Manziel and Baker are the closest comparables I can think of.

Baker mayfield won a playoff game with CLEVELAND! Everyone thought that was impossible.

So teams with shitty owners will look to draft him. Las Vegas, Cleveland, Jacksonville, or Carolina.

Jacksonville? They just paid Lawrence. Browns cant get rid of Watson for 3 years.

I want nothing to do with any of the Sanders kids. Dad is the ultimate helicopter parent. Perhaps even helicarrier parent.

I'd hate it more if you guys drafted Travis Hunter.

I was referencing teams with owners that involve themselves in personnel decisions. I could have thrown Jerry in there too, since he has a boner for Deion.

Teams get burn't all the time if their judging on their combine eval alone. How many GMs have been fired because of combine numbers. All the combine is, is a meat market.

My guess was he will bail on Colorado to coach on whatever team his son joins.
