A lot of people said that the day Worthy broke the all time record at the scouting combine. As for draft night few had the Chiefs actually picking Worthy. Go the reference the "Call Your Shot" pre-draft thread.
You'll find I picked "only one right answer" Worthy. Two people disliked it.
So no, a lot of people had the Chiefs picking someone else. Everyone does know a small next level burner can feast in this offense however. Obviously we've seen it before. [Reply]

One of the many reasons why I love him. He commits the cardinal sins that QB's are taught to avoid and gets away with it almost every time. He's just that good. [Reply]

With pinpoint accuracy.
While reading the DBs and using his eyes to draw them away.
Compiled notes from the first full day of training camp - 07/21
- Mahomes was hitting Marquise Brown early and often to start off 7-on-7s. They have great chemistry and are developing trust real quick. My expectations are ticking up for him.
- Xavier Worthy had multiple great plays in 7s and 11s. His 60 yard touchdown has already been shared, but he was great making adjustments to other balls he caught, too. I still expect Brown to see more reps, but them on the field together will be scary.
- Speaking of Brown and Worthy on the field together, Rashee Rice had an interesting Y-iso play drawn up for him. Brown, Worthy, Rice, Wiley, Pacheco together in the back field. Receivers in a bunch formation. Brown and Worthy on the clear out. Easy throw to Rice. Expect a lot of this stuff every game Rice starts.
- Jared Wiley getting in some first team reps on 12 personnel along with Kelce.
- Justin Reid out with an NFI to start camp. Hicks the first team safety to replace him. Fully expect Hicks to be a huge contributor this year as a starter before the season is over.
- Wanya Morris is currently looking like the starting LT. Kingsley the back up. Likely very fluid. Will be a battle until camp is over.
- Kadarius Toney split his time between WR and RB. They might be looking to move him fully to RB and punt returner. Leaves a huge question mark on whether Rees-Zammit can make the team. LRZ saw very little use today. Same for Carson Steele. RB3 remains a very open contest. [Reply]
