Nzoner's Game Room>It's going to be hard to beat 3-4 playoff teams with Morris at LT
FringeNC 06:30 PM Yesterday
We are average 5.2 yards per play, which is *by far* the worst of the Mahomes era and actually *below average* this year in the NFL. He's probably the worst starting LT in the league and kills drives.

I think you have to bring in one of the former starters who are on the street.

We’ve won 9 of 10 games.

We have the best record in the AFC, still the #1 seed.

We have 3 of 4 coming up against cupcakes, with the only non-cupcake the Chargers and a chance to clinch the AFC West at home in the early part of December.

The regular season is a warm up where we try things out and often employ vanilla game plans. This Team ALWAYS ups its game come postseason.

We have lots of injuries now. We will be MUCH healthier and closer to full strength when the playoffs get here.

In short, calm the fuck down. WBF

There are no cupcakes for KC. Every game is a tough battle.

We’ve lost one game, to Buffalo, in their place. We were down 2 points with 3 minutes remaining. Not worried.

Which team of Carolina, Vegas or Cleveland do you think we’re losing to?

Final score doesn’t matter. Yes, they’re all cupcakes. And we will beat all 3. Period.

We'll see how it goes. When you play close games, sometimes you get burned. KC has been pretty fortunate this year. They've won 7 games by one possession. Hard to keep doing that every week.

I posted this in my level headed thread. It’s not all on the LT this game.

The incompletion to Kelce (overthrow) on 2nd and 4 (1st Q about 20 seconds left) the pressure came from Tre Smith who got beaten badly by Jordan Phillips.

Missed seeing the Worthy deep ball non-catch for not getting his second foot in ..ugh.

The very next play Steele missed picking up the free guy on the right edge instead opting to chip the guy Taylor was engaged with and not struggling with.

The very next play Wanya got beat by Vaughn Miller right around the edge that forced Pat to step up into the guy that was pushing Taylor back into the pocket and that is who sacked Pat.

On the Hendershot catch at the 3 yard line Pat was flushed from the pocket by the DT that beat Smith and late help from Humphrey and Perine.

The 3rd and goal TD to Grey, Wanya got beat again but didn't effect the play - was a bang- bang throw/catch.

2nd and 4 3rd Q with about 5m to go Wanya gets his hand inside the shoulder pad of the DE and gets called for holding.

2nd and 7 with about 9M to go Juju Caught a 1st down pass on a catch and run - Wanya almost let the DE blow that play up by letting his guy get past him.

On the last drive - the 2nd and 13 pass we went hurry up and Taylor got pushed back into the pocket flushing Pat out - Taylor looked exhausted - hands on hips

4th and 4 Tre Smith got beat inside flushing Pat from the pocket and Taylor got called for the hold.

Sure. We lost this week. It caught up with us. Against Buffalo.

Again, we’ve got 3 cupcakes coming up which we will win, with a game mixed in with the Chargers that is a defacto AFC West Championship game.

Could we get tripped up again? Sure. Once, maybe twice? So 15-2, 14-3?

We were 11-6 last year, turned it up come playoff time and won the Super Bowl.

What have you seen this season that makes you think we can’t/won’t do the same thing again this year?

They're definitely capable of performing better than we've seen in many games this year. Will they do it? Hope so. No guarantees though. Last year they lost 4 of 6 games from November 20 to December 25. They really got their act together after Christmas. It's hard to flip the switch like that.

Yeah people just want to blame Morris, because he's the least accomplished on the OL, but a bunch of pressures came from guys other than the one Wanya was blocking. He's playing pretty well for the most part and he's been pretty valuable considering he's making peanuts compared to Thuney, Creed, and Taylor.

The OL is also over exposed because no one just beats their guy in 2 seconds so the ball comes out, Pats just holding and waiting.

He's also gotta start looking at Hopkins first he wins far more often than the other guys and Pat doesn't even look at him so many times.

i predict there will be a mysterious injury that requires a LT free agent.

Has anyone heard an answer or explanation as to why they don’t usually get someone to help with a chip as they go out to their route?

Nazeeh got worked today. Ugly.
Veach was on the Pat McAfee Show and said a 3rd & 4th rounder was too much for Lattimore. I disagree. Lattimore and a 3-peat are worth way more than two unknown college players.

Veach has been very good as the GM, and should probably have won the Executive of the Year at least once, but not getting Lattimore and a veteran LT at the deadline could prove to be costly for a team looking to make history.

We win the game if we spy josh Allen on that play

We did this crap against Balt where we refused to spy Lamar

Not even a spy, haven’t watched it again but iirc it was 4 horrific missed tackles by players that are usually our best tacklera
