The offense concerns me so far. They haven't used the middle of the field much at all in the passing game, and Cook still looks off. His legs cover up a lot of weaknesses, but he needs to pass like he did in the early conference slate last year. South Carolina looks like a much tougher game now.
I think the offense and Brady Cook start looking better next week against better competition. They haven't really needed to do much, but BC looks pretty decent, especially that run game. They have 5 guys averaging 50+ rush yards a game and another averaging 40. That's pretty impressive even though they've played 2 games.
The offense will look damn good come Saturday. Bank on it. [Reply]
So where do we think Mizzou lands in the polls tomorrow? Notre Dame will be out of the top 10, and we should jump Penn State for that performance they had. 7?

Even a loss to Alabama on the road won't stop it.
Oh no question.
If they lose 1 and it's to Alabama or Oklahoma, they're fine. They might be able to lose 2 if they beat Bama or OK.
If they beat Bama and OK but trip up against two lesser opponents, it'll be interested to see how that works out.
But they very obviously control their own destiny. Let's say they lose to a (suddenly) ranked BC team this weekend but then end up splitting the OU/AL games and win the rest, that's PROBABLY enough to get into the post-season.
But they've gotta take care of business. This isn't a year you can have a "Because, Mizzou" sort of outlook. Everything this program has ever wanted is there for the taking. They have the talent and they have a schedule that should allow them to get through the season fairly healthy.
