It’s about the fact that Pat isn’t playing his best right now in part because of the lack of reliable weapons.
It’s about the fact that the defense is not stopping them every time anymore. They allowed a rookie QB that we were all laughing at because he had the lowest CPOE in the league (below -8%) before coming into Arrowhead and lighting up our secondary, allegedly a top-5 unit, including making McDuffie look like a JAG several times.
We lucked out that Toub’s ST unit blocked the game-winning 35-yd FG attempt.
And that’s not a good offense.
So, yeah, I’m 100% in favor of getting some fresh players on the field to shore things up a little, and maybe give guys like Kareem a little bit of a breather before the playoffs. Seems reasonable to me.
Andy's punishment for him lying originally. [Reply]

Exactly. And this was a team the RAvens hung what was it, 41 on? [Reply]

I didnt see that many but, yeah, it was concerning...Sutton is pretty damn decent [Reply]

I didn’t keep an actual count, but off the top of my head I think at least four plays, plus the touchdown. Or it could’ve been three plays, plus the touchdown.
But the thing that concerned me the most, was that they went right at McDuffie multiple times. Most teams just don’t do that. And Sunday was the first time since Sneed was traded, that I actually missed having him on the field.
Now, with all that said, I’m not ringing any alarm bells, just yet. Right now, I’m treating it like an outlier performance from Denver and Bo Nix. Or maybe it was just a bad game for McDuffie. It happens in every cornerback's career. But we still have at least a couple of teams on the slate that feature big physical wide receivers. So, we’ll see if it’s something to be really concerned about soon enough. [Reply]
Buffalo, Pittsburgh, The Ravens and Houston all have at least one more loss with the schedule they all play.
The Ravens play Pittsburgh 2 times...the Chargers...Philadelphia...and Houston....
Pittsburgh plays the Ravens 2 times...Cincy 2 times...KC....Philadelphia...Cleveland 2 times
Buffalo plays KC, San Fran, The Rams and Detroit...
Everyone is acting like HFA will be lost this weekend...which is silly. We have a 2 game lead over Buffalo and Pittsburgh and a 3 game lead over Cincy, Houston, and Baltimore with tie breakers over the Ravens and Cincy. [Reply]

The difference between a win and a loss in this one may very well come down to a free rusher being picked up, an extra tackle getting broken or a big catch out of the backfield.
If the bone is healed, it’s time to unleash this elite 1-2 punch.
We don’t want Buffalo to be one game back with the tiebreaker.
Chiefs, 9ers, Rams, Lions. Do you be think they come out of that murderers row unscathed? I’d bet they at best go .500 [Reply]

Do you think these guys are robots? They were on a short week and even played overtime. Sutton did well against Mcduffie yes but the defense never let them score in three of the four quarters. The last drive they started at the 40 because Butker messed up. So they hardly drove the whole field on that last possession.
Folks need to start being realistic. The defense with Sneed last season gave up 20 points to Zach Wilson's Jets, 27 points to a young Greenbay offense and 24 points to Russell Wilson's garbage Denver team. Hell they even gave up 17 points to Bailey Zappe's Pats and folks are complaining about 14 points? :-) [Reply]
