Nix did about as well as he could in the game today. That doesn’t prove he’s a good NFL QB. But it surely isn’t evidence he’s bad.
It's evidence that when you play for a loser organization with chronic QB problems, there's no point in even analyzing a preseason performance. It's right up there with total QB wins in college. [Reply]
I did notice that Nix was hitting passes over the middle, something Russ struggled with during his entire time in DEN. In that respect, Nix a lot more of a fit than Russell was.
And all that odd drifting and shuffling seems to have gone away in a week. Maybe it was just first game jitters. [Reply]

This is evidence you have severe problems with the whole thinking thing. [Reply]
This is what we’re comparing to from the last two years. And, of course, Wilson also was playing a preseason game against backups.
I couldn't even finish watching that. It's too painful. Man, he sucks. And he's turned so soft. It's like he believed the PFHOF talk from the first part of his career, and decided around 2020 that it was a fait accompli. He's about out of chances. It was still realistic this offseason for someone to give him a chance to at least compete for a starting spot, thinking that he just needed the right system and coaching staff. But he is what he is, at this point. Guy probably has a wonderful life in front of him - nice family and way more money than he will ever need. But he pissed away his football career with complacency. [Reply]
