We're celebrating mostly FG drives in the preseason now?
He had one boring TD and should've had a pick. It was an average game, and absolutely overrated due to box score scouting.
So now you’ve essentially agreed with me, then made up something I didn’t say.
I said he was pretty good and you say average. Is suppose there may be some distance between these assessments. But you know very well that I wasn’t celebrating anything.
And I’m not at all convinced you actually watches the game.
Further, if you dismiss every good play a player makes by inventing a hypothetical problem, it’s pretty easy to make an utterly absurd criticism. [Reply]
Even that's inaccurate. Jeudy is clearly a better player than Patrick. And this isn't a compliment to Jeudy, Patrick is just a broke dick scrub that wasn't anything special even when he managed to dress for games. [Reply]

THIS.
5 Games in a row where the turnover Gods gifted you multiple turnovers. Turnovers that just don't happen that frequently. You can argue that wasn't flukey - but no one outside of orange mane will agree - that run of turnovers was a statistical anomaly. [Reply]

Thumbs Down
Franklin’s shaky hands: Rookie wide receiver Troy Franklin, on the other hand — no pun intended — continued what’s been a tough stretch of camp on Wednesday. The good: He absolutely toasted newcomer Kaleb Hayes deep in a team period. The bad: Wilson put a perfect rainbow on him for a touchdown and Franklin dropped it. Not every rookie develops at the same pace and it’s been clear most of the summer that the former Oregon star is far from a finished product. All the same, the Broncos would clearly love to see some signs of breaking through the rookie preseason malaise between now and the start of the regular season.
Told everyone way back in January that I didn't understand the hype around this guy. Before I even saw him butcher the Combine. There's a reason he dropped to the 4th. And it's not even a good 4th round pick. A bum in the 4th round is still a bum. [Reply]
In any case, let's say Tim Patrick IS as good as Jerry Jeudy. Manchambo still hasn't addressed the losses on defense that are going to make this Donk team worse than last year.
Worse defense, and same at best offense. That's a worse team, bud. [Reply]
For years, I have held onto the cheat that cost the Chiefs a chance at the SB. The Vaseline/Pam game. I have decided to let that go because it does me no good and is poison to my soul.
That said, what is currently happening to the Broncos is because of all the wrongs that they have done. Karma is a bitch and unfortunately the fans are the ones who feel the most pain.
May you live in QB purgatory for the next twenty years. [Reply]

You can beleive that he had an average game while also acknowledging that the criticism in those tweets is fair. The entire point is that he's a 24 year old rookie that is supposed to be NFL ready with a high floor. He didn't really show that, and that's why "average" isn't good enough. [Reply]
