Not to mention, the kid could help attract high end free agents to actually want to come play in KC. If i was a WR and the chiefs called me during free agency with Smith as the qb, i would say, naa fuck that. But with Mahomes, I would be at the airport in 5 minutes.

That is absolutely stupid. That is some Kevin K level stupid. 2019:-). This team is not paying Smith 20 mil after trading up to 10 for a QB. I don't care what the hell Smith does. Win lose or draw they have no choice but to start Mahomes in 18.
If the season goes bad and contention is lost they will have no choice but to start Money Mahomes. [Reply]
