Apparently in New York you can be suspended for not showing up to a weigh-in. Kelvin Gastelum has been suspended 6 months. The UFC was planning on subbing him in for Rashad Evans in UFC 206, but thats off now. [Reply]

Most athletic commissions will honor other states suspensions. Even international suspensions, plus if the UFC tried to sneak him in somewhere, the NYAC will not be favorable in upcoming events in terms of suspensions etc. [Reply]

AC's almost always honor each other's suspensions, even international AC's, and even if they were suspended for something that state wouldn't have suspended for.
Going to an unregulated area or an Indian casino isn't much of an option because if a fighter fights despite a universally-recognized suspension, he can pretty much forget about ever fighting in a regulated state ever again, and the promoter will be in serious trouble with the commissions.
Its all essential to ensure that suspensions mean something. So given all that, if an AC wants to suspend you your only option is to convince them not to suspend you, or fight them in court. [Reply]

He's shooting a 6-episode Netflix series where he plays a bad guy in a Western. I'm guessing he's filming his death scene or something today. Was still funny. [Reply]

DC is hurt (for the 2nd time in 2016!) and is out of 206. That card was already weak, and now its a hot mess.
It would however be good for free TV, so hopefully the UFC moves it to FS1 or something, but yeah I'm not paying for that shit. I might go to the bar to watch Cowboy if its still PPV.
Hey UFC, may have been nice to have GSP as a backup plan for a PPV in Canada. Just sayin' [Reply]
