It's almost as if I tried telling these "more mobile Drew Brees" morons that his completion % in college doesn't make him the most accurate QB NFL history. I even posted Nix's game against Washington where his ball placement was consistently off. [Reply]
Also, just want to point out that this is further proof that Payton and the organization are desperately trying to sell this pick to the media and fans. You wouldn't know he was struggling at all if you listen to them. [Reply]
Personally, I saw more good than bad from Bo Nix today. Few throws were behind the receivers but that timing will come. Like his confidence. Looks like he belongs out there which I can’t say the same for every rookie QB I’ve watched.
Best individual throw today belonged to Jarrett Stidham. Bo Nix had some nice throws, hit a couple of tight windows and looked nimble under pressure, but his placement was off at times. Nix’s feel for the pass rush is promising; you can’t coach that. Zach Wilson was inconsistent.
